How many people over the age of 10 watch Blue Peter? I'm a primary teacher and while my class of 7 year olds watch BP none of them are allowed to vote so I don't think that counts. Matt di and Alesha have had loads of articles written about them and both have been on talk shows aimed at an older audience allowed to use the phone. Paul O'Grady and Loose women to name 2.

This is not a conspiracy theory either! Just a note of the facts!

Have to say that I have given up watching ITT now- because it just frustrates me!”

Dont watch BP tbh so wouldnt know.

Yup - really interesting to see what it should have been, and what it was. Thought it a good way of showing what it should have been, and again would have liked to have seen the paso (again to see if the 'hair bit' should have been there)! Also quite impressed with Flavia's rather stark comment about the dancing not being worthy of a quarter final. Thought the body language rather telling...

Really wish, at this stage in the competition, that ITT thought that the couples had done enough to warrant longer interviews.

Also forgot to say, we normally moan about recapping the Saturday show but I really thought it was hideous to do such a long montage of Matt and Flavia going wrong. What was the point? For all we know, he was pretty cheerful till that and that would have been enough to ruin anyone's mood.

Actually I have my own theory about that but will leave it until he does live interviews after the final.

I am just assuming that the Beeb are grooming him to move onto primetime!

As to not allowed to vote- lots of adults watch BP if the Gethin thread is anything to go by and most children have mobile phones- on the other side I work during the day and do not see daytime TV. Anyway- it was a comment only as a response to the 'invisible man' comment.

Votes wise I am sure that most of the people voting are voting already so the dancing is really becoming a sideshow at the moment- shame!

Well, it does amuse me all this . We all see what we want to see and interpret innocent nothings as something !

No couple could have been closer or more in sync than Mark and Karen yet they always sat with a distance between them and were not touchy feely on ITT . Yet one could sense the connection all the time .
I suspect Matt is feeling just a bit ashamed of himself and he really isn't getting it together well... or so the BBC would have us believe .

... have they actually mentioned the Vincent/Flavia relationship on ITT this year? ... I seem to remember when Vince, Lilia and James(?) were on the show they mentioned the two marriages, and Claudia said something very stilted to Vincent ... along the lines of "and you're supporting Flavia and Matt", nothing about their relationship though ... if Flavia and Vincent are avoiding publicising their own relationship on SCD, and are just highlighting their professional one, that might well be why the body language looked odd today ... with Flavia sat equidistant to both Matt and Vincent, and Vincent dropping Flavia's hand when they sat down, as if he'd only just remembered that he wasn't supposed to be holding it ... it did look slightly strange today, but to my mind that was only because Matt didn't really want to be talking about Saturday (and who could blame him?) and Flavia and Vincent don't seem to be overly affectionate with each other on TV unless they are dancing ... any thoughts?

Am I missing something here? Or have all the SCD contestants not have articles/interviews/TV appearances-not just Gethin.

I fail to see why some of you are singling him out!

Only because some people were saying that he wasn't featuring as much as some of the others! His fans thought he had been the invisible man on ITT and others were agreeing/ disagreeing and I pointed out that he was doing okay in other areas!

Its another of those ongoing issues that will never be settled until someone wins!!

I'm sure that when the week finishes everyone would have got more or less the same kind of exposure - let's at least wait till tomorrow when Gethin's on before we start!

Presumably your class of 7 year olds aren't home alone when they watch BP? I would have thought the mummies were Gethin's target voters.

Me too - showed just how good he can be. I thought he was still very down tonight and I felt for him when he was watching the steps when V&F were dancing.

Yep because only Mums and young children will vote for Gethin Actually I would imagine that quite a few of them would be making dinner although I'm sure a few of them will watch it with their chilren. You know what? I'll take an exit poll at work tomorrow to find out and report back tomorrow

I watched ITT just now. Hmmm...liked Michael Ball, he seems a real fan. But Matt? He looks like he doesn't want to be there...he looks awkward and uncomfortable...like something we don't know about has happened....

Right so I've watched their interview from ITT and I really don't know what everyone's on about. Matt looked down but didn't notice any 'tension' between them, nowhere near as bad as everyone's been making out. I loved Flavia prodding Matt with the sword!!

Yes, I thought he looked very down as well. It didn't seem to me that he was concentrating on V&F steps in ITT, if anything I thought he looked embarrassed and it was almost as if V was saying to him 'this is how it should be done'. I think he's dreading Saturday, so I shall be keeping everything crossed for him.

(I'm an Alesha and Matthew voter by the way, so doesn't directly affect me anyway!)”

Flavia thanked people and Claudia cut accross before Matt could say anything to talk about Flavia and Vencents Pro dance, I think they were running short of time and needed to get the AT footage in.

I'm desperately hoping that Matt will pull it back together this week but today's ITT didn't seem very promising in that respect!

I was sad to see no Wednesday report in the ' Strictly hub/hubbub/epicentre' today! I liked having different professionals do it.

Loved Michael Ball as always.

I didnt notice any tension between matt and Flavia.. however he did look a little awkward when Vincent came on.
It does annoy me when Claudia keeps going on about Matts nerves. Its just making him even more scared for saturday I really hope he manages to pull of two great dances this week.

I agree I really don't think she helped.

I hope someone iss giving him some good advice.

He really needs to 'let go' of whatever this thing is that has taken hold of him, he'll regret it if he doesn't and doesn't achieve his potential.

I don't think too much should be read into how V/F/M sat on the sofa...I think that ITT would prefer the guests don't sit too close together so that when they have their own close-up, the other person's hooter isn't in the shot

(No..........seriously )

Mind you, Matt, though he's doing EE this week, is up there with Alesha and already trained 16 hours. Talk about deserving semi-finalists...

I thought Wednesday's ITT (12th December) was one of the best ever. I loved the detailed choreography report - I learned quite a lot about how the dances are put together.

And the lovely Michael Ball on the sofa looking as if he'd just got out of bed! I would like to see a much longer interview with him because I have a feeling he would be blisteringly honest and dead bitchy!
