Yes, I wasn't going to watch it but actually they were good. Far better than some of the adult panels we've had!

So poor old Alesha today we find out that not only all the teeny girls love Gethin, all the blokes do too!

To be fair the woman who said she loved Gethin in the see-through shirt was saying it was part of the whole transformation thing 'cos she understood someone beinging shy and then wham! he wasn't! Not just "ooh he wore a see-thru' shirt phwoar!"

As there is not a 'post something not so nice thread', can I say here that I didn't see the point of having 4 people on the Panel today - minor celebs - to say one or two lines each.

That Digby bloke was funny and handsome, the rest were dull, and I don't wish to see Anneka Rice again.

Also Andrea McClean was in the first series of DOI, so why not ask her about her experience of that...oh no, it's an ITV show, so can't be mentioned!

At least she's got (potentially) two great songs.

Everyone is guessing at Valerie for her QS (after the way she sang lawyer in the training footage) and 'I'd Be Surprisingly Good For You' from Evita which can be clearly heard in the background of her AT training.

Wonder if we'll be so lucky with Matt and Gethin's training footage later in the week.

I don't see the point at all of those celeb panels to be honest - all they do is say "so-so is my favourite because s/he is so fantastic and has been on a journey" etc, which is nice but I really don't care! They should allocate that time to either showing us more footage, have more time interviewing Alesha & Matthew today, or else bring in some pros to critique their technique/performance more.

For example, interviewing pros to see how they choose the music and choreograph etc, that kind of thing, would be far more interesting.

I feel so sorry for the couples, who give up valuable training time to go into the ITT studio, and get barely 3 mins to talk, whilst they show VT footage we've already seen from last week's show, and include the likes of the celeb panel....or even worse, their relatives!

Totally agree! I am sure it's partly to try and get people watching ITT who wouldn't usually, but can't help thinking that defeats the object of ITT - the people who watch it are exactly the kind of people who would appreciate more stuff about the celebs, the dancers, the dancing, and who don't give a toss about who random celeb trying to resurrect their career is supprting unless they're really a fan!

Even the obligatory relatives have SOMETHING to do with the dancing, however slight, but "random bloke who failed to win reality TV prog", do I care what he thinks? Nope...

the only people I dont mind on ITT are previous contestants of the show like Bill Turnbull and Nicolas Owen.

Watching today I was thinking 'it's getting later and later and where are they?' They came on at 18.53 and coupled with the VTs it left hardly any time to talk - the end of the show is ALWAYS rushed - they shoulda been on before the 'panel' people

I haven't been able to watch ITT much recently but I'm not that bothered tbh. It seems to become less and less interesting. They're devoting the same amount of time to each couple that they did about a month ago, they must have tons of footage of them and plenty more scope for interview seeing as there's only three of them now.

If you didn't think Alesha and Matt got enough time on ITT tonight you can leave a message on the feedback thing on the ITT webpage......... i have.

For sure they deserved more than 5 minutes actual "talk"time.

There's way too much time wasting on the programme with pointless groups of people saying who they want to win - I say show us a video montage of them saying one word -Alesha, Gethin or Matt, if they must, then move onto more important things! It's not as if we won't be able to sleep unless we know who they are supporting - they don't matter!

Just had to get that off my chest - disappointed with ITT tonight

Seeing that Alesha was quite upset I think it might be a blessing that she didn't talk too much. It looks like she's putting on a brave front and will burst into tears any time. Claudia, I know, was trying to help her by revealing her 'secrets' but it clearly didn't sit well with her.

Poor girl. I think a 5 minute talk time is a blessing in disguise.:sleep:

Maybe - it could've been discussed pre-show that she was quite upset and not in the right frame of mind for talking at length. It's just frustrating when you think that they could go out this weekend and you want to see as much of them as possible

I watch ITT for the pros and their partners. There are other bits, such as the pro panel, the training footage, the backstage stuff etc., but basically, I want the competitors. Really disappointed tonight with the amount of bumpf, and having one of three left in the competition shunted to the end with a very short interview. Really unfair, and I'd be saying that about any of them left if they had an interview such as that.

I was looking at Digby bloke on the house sale programme and thought he'd look good in SCD.

I would say, let her train a little more and then have some on the spot interview in the dance studio on Thursday about her training (showing lots and lots of clips of her two dances) would be nice.

Yay for training updates - it should be a good one this week with only 3 dancers.

Exactly, still can't forget the clips of Ramps 'finger-seducing' actions to Karen when they showed their AT training in the Friday panel. Jimmy Turbuck could only manage: OMG!

Can't wait for Thursday and Friday training clips!!!

I'm having to record it as work picked tomorrow of all days to have an xmas meal - well, at least it isn't Saturday! Then I think the SCD excuse would HAVE to come into force - despite the risk of ridicule at the hands of non-converts!
