I think that us DS forum members should work out what we want to have in ITT (and what we don't want!).

I'll start with my ideas. No panels of z-list celebrities spouting their opinions. More footage of the training footage. No more "day in the life". Longer interviews with the celebrities and professional interspersed with training. Chats with the judges and their take of the previous week. James Jordan talking about the dances.

I wish they'd stop showing so many VT's when the couples are on and actually interview them, especially in exit interviews, they barely get a chance to speak.

I don't know if you have read the earlier posts, but I don't think she was particularly upset until Claudia raised the subject - general consensus earlier on was that Claudia had brought up something Alesha had said in confidence.

I totally agree ...there are too many introductory and recap packages ...it's nice work but it cuts down on interview time

Were Alesha and Matt rehearsing to "I could be so good for you" (or something like that) from Evita for their AT ? It sounded like that to me ....

I presume that these "stars" get paid for going on ITT too so it would surely save the BBC (and us in turn) some money NOT having them on. Let's have more training footage, more of the actual contestants and less random opinions

Absolutely agree with all this, except possibly not the chat with judges. I'm a bit sick of the sight of the judges at the moment. More training footage - they must have hours and hours of the stuff. Why don't they stop using it for cute little 'stories' and actually show us a little of how Matthew, Flavia and Camilla teach?

Daniel at least has experience of the whole 'performing for the public vote' behind him. I worry that what he said about a Matt/Gethin final might come true because of what has happened the last couple of years as well ... I'm a Gethin fan but Alesha absolutely deserves to be in the final - she is outstanding.

I know this has been discussed before, and got lost then in the next day's discussion on ITT - should there be a new thread? I know this was one I didn't come on for a while as its length intimidated me a little...

Personally I'd prefer one thread for each show like at the weekend. Then those who join the thread a while after the end of the programme might find it easier to read what has already been discussed about that particular show.

I hope Gethin is too busy to appear this week so he can stay out the limelight as everyone is gunning for him it seems because hes popular.

Can we just ban Anneka Rice from the programme - that's about all I want. Jeez, she didn't realise anything had gone wrong with that Foxtrot, what apart from the fact Matt had obviously frozen, did she really think it was meant to go like that

Actually, that's not all I want, I want them to set up a panel of us lot who get to interview potential 'celeb' guest, fire questions at them, and if they don't pass our 'Addicted to Strictly' quiz they don't get on!

Why not just a straight 30 mins with each of the remaining 3 couples ??,Tues,Weds,Thurs ??

I want to know much more about how the pro's teach the celebs a routine from scratch,how the pro's pick the music,how they cut it to 90 secs,how the couples prepare on Friday,Saturdays,........ i could go on.

Coming up today on It Takes Two:

Strictly fan Michael Ball in be in to the studio to give us his opinion of the semi-finalists.

Darren Bennett will be here to give us a choreography report.

Matt and Flavia will be talking through what happened last Saturday and tell us how they are shaping up for this week.

And we will be joined by Vincent who will tell us all about the Argentine Tango.

Wonder what that is about ?

Is it the mid-week training that Craig usually does?

Choreography report? For a moment, I thought he'd actually be talking about how they decide on the choreography and I was really excited. But, yes, it is probably the mid-week report. Oh, well, I really want to see that too.

I thought the same as you at first, then realised it`s wednesday when they usually do the mid-week report.

Why didnt they just say so instead ?
