Good morning, no news so a little joke

An elderly couple were on a cruise and it was really stormy. They were standing on the back of the boat watching the moon, when a wave came up and washed the old woman overboard. They searched for days and couldn't find her, so the captain sent the old man back to shore with the promise that he would notify him as soon as they found something. Three weeks went by and finally the old man got a fax from the boat. It read: 'Sir, sorry to inform you, we found your wife dead at the bottom of the ocean. We hauled her up to the deck and attached to her butt was an oyster and in it was a pearl worth $50,000 . Please advise.' The old man faxed back: 'Send me the pearl and re-bait the trap.'

Nooooo sious ...... I'm having major problems with my internet connection at home - Virgin is sooooooooooooo slow atm. I sat in front of my laptop for over 2 hours and managed to post about 4 posts. Everytime I submitted a reply it cut me off ............ *wonders if KDee has paid her Virgin bill*

Have just had a look on the Eurodance comp site and there is an update asking visitors who are coming to support their dancers to contact...and a couple of e.mail names and addresses are given.

Well...you know me

I have e.mailed them stating that I would love to let them know who I would be supporting, IF I knew who was dancing for the UK......... I then asked them if they knew and could they let me know

Needless to say I am not holding my breath

Sadly, I've noticed that the Heresy thread is turning in to a Let's Slate Matt thread by a couple of Gethin and Matt fans. I recognise the names and they are soooo predictable.
I am not looking in there again. Why bother?

I have great respect for all of the celebs who take part. No matter how good or bad the dance, they lay themselves open to millions of viewers and take a lot of flack. I applaud them all for that.
I watched SCD before, but never got involved as I did in SCD 5.
I wonder if there were so many bad feelings in previous years. I have reached a point where I just can’t bear the acrimony any more.
Everyone had good and bad shows. Judging is subjective. We are all subjective.
At the end of the day it is an entertainment show and Matt – like everyone else from Alesha to Kate – certainly entertained us.

I totally agree with you in everything you have stated Layla. I have know idea if there were any bad feelings in previous shows as I - like you - didnt get that involved as I'd never heard of DS beforehand. By starting a thread on 'which dance you thought was over-rated' is bound to cause conflict so I'm staying away from Hearsy from now on ....... I'm staying on my pink fluffy cloud forever

I think I know why Virgin is so slow. I have just recieved a flyer through my letterbox from Virgin stating that we need to switch to FIBRE OPTIC BROADBAND

With the massive growth of the internet, the wires are finding it hard to cope. Which means your broadband can be rather slow *you can say that again* Luckily for you there's an amasing alternative.

I think they do it on purpose so you have spend between £9/£20. I'm so annoyed.

Layla I will have to watch Zoe's Regent's Ball tomorrow at work as it wont work for me at home.

I see the Hearsy thread is getting heated - I'm not commenting in there again - some of them take it the wrong way Best leave well alone.
