Would certainly have added to the performance.

Craig has been bad as well. Because the others have been so OTT this series, he's been seen as the cool-headed objective one, and he has made some shrewd judgements, but he's also stressed technique when it's suited him and ignored it when it hasn't, he's hammered some for every single fault and over-marked others. He's almost as out of control as the others, and his 'cowardly' remark in the week was really pathetic.

Len is a pathetic wannabe.

Attention seeking and tonight foul mouthed take your knickers off....ick.

He also seems to think he can do/say what he wants as he is the most popular judge.....with who?

I hope the door hits his arse on the way out.....just stay in the US.

LOL Over-reaction maybe? I'm sure your children will see/hear a lot worse in the school playground. I don't think Len would have started beating him up in front of 11 million viewers.

Len is a legend. I thought it was very amusing. Although it must be said he used the 'get your knickers' off line on DWTS a few weeks ago. He gotta a lot of laughs then , probably why he used it again.

It was funny but he really is getting cranky. Wonder if Arlene can spare him some of her HRT pills?

The bickering between the judges is getting very tedious. Each one is entitled to their own opinion without getting shouted down, i think it is staged but does nothing for the show, len is a real pain this series, he should have walked instead of john.

I have never liked Len Goodman since I began watching SCD in series 3. And with every series the Mask slips a little more. Goodman appears to have a hard time dealing with opinianated women. Slightly (or maybe totally) homophobic. A frustrated sportsman (apparently he took up dancing after failing at football) hence his support of all the Alpha Male "blokes" who come on the show.

Although paradoxically I do find myself agreeing with most of his comments on DWTS. Mainly because they seem to slaughter every dance they perform over there

I really can't stand him any more! He is meant to be the "great guru of ballroom", but in previous years, I found Philip Jackson much more informative. (I'm really missing the red button commentary this year.)

Len's comment to Christine was out of order. I don't care if it was a joke - he is there to judge and make constructive criticism!

I hope they get rid of him!

lovely examples of adult behavour on a family show.

I was disgusted by his comments to Christine.
A new low for this programme.

They're all dreadful this year, with the possible exception of Bruno. Agree that Len's outdoing them all though - miserable old g*t.

Week after week Len is constantly butting in when Craig is speaking and trying to undermine his comments and I was delighted when Craig for once told him what an idiotic comment Len made tonight. Len likes to dish it out but can't take it when the boots on the other foot. I thought the guy was going to have a coronary.

why did he say she should get her knickers off and throw them in the air? If it was a joke what was the context because on it's own it's awful!

He said she needed to be more wild for the cha cha.
So she could have enlivened the entertainment by throwing off her pants.
Craig didn't like that remark so Len went all shouty and huffy that Craig should have known he was joking.

Yes, but it wasn't FUNNY!

I think his point was Christine needed to perform the dance more.

Seen no evidence of homophobia on Len's part. I think he support the like of Austin, Matt Dawson and Darren Gough cos they are great dancers.

The point Craig was making was it was a totally unhelpful and not constructive comment. At least Arlene tells them to go to a ballet class or see an acting coach etc.

It wasn't meant to be it was a joke to make a point, and give a little light relief after some negative comments.

Having said that the arguing gets on my nerves, and I think the judging panel needs 'refreshed' but I would get rid of Craig first - the man is pure poison.

Hasn't he said this before, to another dancer?

I'm sure I'd heard it from him before tonight. Maybe on Dancing on the Stars.

I'm sure no-one really believes that Len seriously meant for Christine to throw her knickers in the air.

I didn't take much notice of that remark actually. When he had a go at Craig I got the impression that he is fed up of Craig and maybe blames him more for the past week's fiasco. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

I don't know how anyone would consider Len to be homophobic!

However I am not as keen on Len as I once was. I used to like all of them so much. Now I think I only like Bruno.

Well said. Len cannot be criticised but he could criticise someone else 'help for the aged' and that sort of nasty remarks. Double standards. Sad really, considering this is NOT the Z-Factor.

I didn't think the help the aged comment was meant as a nasty comment. Maybe I'm bias as I can't stand Craig.
