I completely concur

No, not for me either. It was good, but it wasn't a 40, and as posters better educated in ballroom than me have pointed out, there were missed heel leads/turns (Len's pet peeve ~ so lord knows where he was looking!)

My personal thoughts on this: the judges were determined to award a 40 to someone in last night's show in order to prove that a) it's all about the 'darncing' & b) the show is still 'spectacular' despite the number of people saying it won't be the same wthout John. I think they were trying to recoup some credibility for themselves as judges and for the show overall.

How foolish of us to think that they know what they are talking about.”

Craig, Arlene and Bruno have no ballroom/latin judging qualifications, and quite frequently do not know what they are talking about. Your faith in their credentials is very touching, however.

Me too.

Even without the missed steps, I thought it deserved 9s at the very best.

I much preferred Austin's dance which was so much more entertaining.
