Boring = Plain
Bread = White

leaving Ts or Tees which is a lot of clue for not many letters!

boring could be plain, I agree

fried bread ? = toast?
could fried = anag?

conceals a bird = tern - we hear - turn
T-Bird is a car so could it be a T inside BREAD?

-brated?

not sure that plain white Ts fits

White Plains - but also not a match

Not close yet.

Hint: 'Conceals' is used in the same way as 'hide' in T's last clue.

I might be out a while so here's the letters

(The 6)

That's right, was a toughie!.

z + (cro)utons -(conceals) 'cro' (sounds like crow). = Zutons

Croutons being small bits of fried bread.

Are undertakers "doers", sounds like doors?

Then I thought it might be a tribute band to The Doors, like Bootleg Doors?

Brag is a synonmym for bootleg as in bootleg gin?

Nice idea but I'm afraid not

The clue could just as easily be mortuary, morgue or similar, as undertakers

Was thinking yobs could be bad boys, but can't make Wham fit..,

extra time - ET?

Maybe we are after a species of tree...oak, yew etc?

yobs becomes Boys to end the answer

so we have an extra T

...and trees become...?

perhaps it should be TEER(T)S...
