I loved it too - I think she has improved so much, hope she doesn't end up in the bottom 2 tonight.

If Rachel had done it she'd have gotten four tens

Yep, liked it as well. It wasn't perfect but it was fun to watch.

It was energetic but that's about it.

I really enjoyed it. She's been the revelation of this series for me, she just seems like such a lovely person who's just enjoying learning how to dance and wants to continue learning. She wants to win like everyone else does, but I feel for her its more about enjoying the show and the dancing, just as much as it is about winning.

She continues every week to improve and go about her business in her own way with grace and humility. She seems to be so down to earth and a fun person and its lovely to see someone taller than most getting stuck in and not letting her height be a reason for her not to give it 100% no matter what the dance and succeed.

Me too. Dancing wasn't perfect but she had the most spark about her dancing tonight and it was great fun to watch. Really hope she stays.

Nah, it was tosh. I thought it only deserved 27 and Judges overmarked it.

I know im right! Rachel is being overmarked because the judges know as soon as she has a bad week she's in the dance off. I am convinced she is not getting much of the public vote.

You've put that better than I could but that's what I wanted to say - along with her and Ian's great partnership - go Jodie!

Completely agree, I think you've just summed up why she's my favourite this series! I also love her self depricating humour, the fact she can laugh at herself makes her more endeering!

In your opinion which is clearly at odds with everyone else on this thread....

Clever from Ian..he did a routine that covered the fact there was a big lack of steps in there. What she did do, I thought she did really well though! I hope she gets through tonight.

I really liked Jodie's jive - considering how tall she is, she did a great job!

I hope she's safe tonight, she seems to be having so much fun on Strictly, not desperate to win but just enjoying the whole experience.

Just posted this on Jodie & Ian Appreciation thread before I'd seen this, so apologies for repeating myself.

"I continue to be impressed, much to my surprise! that was a much better Jive than I EVER expected. I did see Jive elements in there, it was not too untidy, some great bounce, kicks weren't too bad, a bit of a Rock and Roll feel and generally a really entertaining and cheeky routine. It was so THEM. Gotta say well done Ian for that, and a brilliant track if ever there was one. I think despite her not feeling 100% she really seemed to enjoy it".

Question: Did the leapfrog bit at the end constitue a lift? Not that I'm complaining or being picky, and as to the routine being geared towards not having too many Jive steps in it, what would you have done if you'd been Ian?

She did well. Oh, and not wishing to be too critical of the OP, but was there a need for a new thread for this? The one mentioned above would have done. The board is getting a bit chaotic I feel.
