I am sure Katie would have said hello and asked whether he had a certain item with him! How did it ever happen that the party animal never gets to go to any parties?

Originally posted by lulu g Ah !! But surely Kate is no longer a 'wannabe' she is an 'is'You may believe that; others are more sceptical. Along with maybe Brian, (and erm Alison ) she should no longer be compared with other HMs but with her fellow TV presenters. Go on then, have a field day !!But we stray off topic Was Alex a 'wannabee' in the classic BB mould ? Well he would have to be incredibly thick not to realise that appearing on BB would raise his profile and it seems quite likely that this would be one of the reasons for doing it. Fair enough, nobody goes on it to reduce their profile, do they ? What saves Alex from the scorn heaped upon most of the others is his rather more dignified behaviour after BB Although he has appeared in the tabloids and done some questionable things , I never had the impression that he he was hawking himself around desperate to get on TV or in the papers. Some people might say that this is the reason he has faded away a bit, ie he or his agent should have hawked him around getting those TV spots and tabloid stories, but at the end of the day it does seem that he wasn't desperate enough and at least has pretty much still got his integrity intact As a sometime Alex knocker I have to say that he is still the one I most look forward to seeing on telly, in fact really the only one. It seems as if Jon might be following the same course and I hope he does, they may appear less often but at least will be worth watching when they do turn up Oh sod it !!. I was having porridge for dinner but have now got a brown lump stuck to the bottom of the pan. Don't seem to be having much luck with cereal products these days

Tell them Alex is doing quite well, and is happy with life,...they're like flies round shit, wanting to get a dig in. Hand them something on a plate, ..and they just don't have anything to say.
we're too nice anyway for that
