Has anyone else noticed that she is slightly taller than him? Not by much, but she is very slightly. I suppose its because of the heels. I know Jodie is slightly taller than Ian in heels as well, but she is 6'2 and there is no one else she could dance with.

It must make it quite awkward for them to dance and they don't look right together.

Surely Lisa should have been paired with Matt? Also I can't help but feel she'd be a bit more endearing if she was with Matt. I think Brendan brings out the worst in people. He is so over competitive and Lisa always seems scared of letting him down. Obviousley thats just my personal opinion.

Yup. It makes it awkward in ballroom in particular and i think their samba rolls suffered for it last week too.

I think you're totally wrong - they seem to be getting on really well and although it might of been better if he'd had a slightly smaller partner I think they dance together lovely

I don't think its about getting along. Its about the fact they are not physically well matched. She would have been better dancing with Matt or Ian and probably would have come over a bit better as well. Brendan brings out the overly competitive side in people- he did with Kelly as well and I normally really like Kelly.

I am not really a Brendan fan – although he is making an effort recently.
However, even I was very impressed tonight – great dance!
I think they do make a good team and I am warming to the partnership

I am a huge Brendan fan but have been disappointed from day 1 at their appearance together with Lisa being so tall. He looked ridiculous a couple of years ago dancing with Rachel Hunter for the same reason. Brendan and Kelly looked fabulous together last year. I am sure Brendan and Lisa get along OK. I thought she looked ridiculous last week in that silly dress. Lionel Blair said it looked like a lampshade and he was right.

I doubt Christine's fragile ego in the early stages would have survived this far with the Brendan treatment.

If Lisa would be better off with Matthew then Christine would need...I'm wondering what Christine's height is like in relation to Darren's? If she's smaller, I'd have had:

Darren and Christine
Matthew and Lisa
Brendan and Jessie

I think Jessie is a strong enough character to fight Brendan if need be.

Lisa is competive and always wanted to do really well! Her and brendan go really well together. Matt and her would've been bad

She makes all sorts of adaptations and it detracts.

For me the height difference spoils their dances. She does hunch and the samba was poor because of it.
I noticed last night when she put her head on his shoulder she had to stoop!

I do think there was a bias towards putting them together because they were friends through Kelly Brooke (and brendon has a lot of say) and I also reckon they didn't want Matt to be a contender this year.

Same thought over Austin, Erin and Flavia..if they'd put him with Flavia (or Lilia) his fun side would be out more and he'd have had more challenging routine (I can see him now throwing her around ) Erin is too poor at latin and choreography and whilst I like her...she's very quiet and almost schoolmarmish. But again...they couldn't give Flavia another chance so soon.

Tom I would have put with Kristina...she could match him on personality on the dance floor for sure. But once again...Camilla always get the goodlooking 'heart throb' type (has she ever had someone old or ugly!)

I think for me Strictly is suffering this year because of the poor partnering and could have had much more spark.

I think they got Rachel and Vincent right tho'.
