after the latest software update for the ipod touch, it is now clear to me that it has knackered up the ability to watch and use iplayer on the ipod touch, even though i have a wifi connection when i try to view a program it states 'sorry, programmes can only be accessed over a wifi connection' i mean wtf i have a working wifi connection so what on earth has apple done or screwed with this time to prevent iplayer use?

any other ipod touch users got this problem?

i am absolutely fuming, whatever apple has done with the new update has not only rendered the iplayer useless but i bought an component cable so i was able to watch video's on the tv and now that has ceased to work also,

other problems now include miniscule speed when uploading to pod,

unresponsive and eratic playing of songs and will not connect to the home hub at times, i am so hacked off i have sent a email to apple demanding answers,

i hope so, what hacks me off is i do a lot of downloading tv shows i.e knight rider, life on mars us ect and its a waste having a large hd tv if i can only watch them via a macbook,

i wonder how many others have now encountered this problem?

Looks like this is a problem with the BBC code that detects the device that content is being played on.
