Who on earth choreographed that pro dance to John Barrowman? Your suppose to interpret the lyrics of the song, that was not related to the song at all.

You would think the pros would be better than the celebs but Jill Halfpenny was better than any of the female pros when she danced to that song.

I have to say I didn't really like it either...it looked too choreographed....Flavia's dancing feels too stylised and ballroomy when she's doing AT of late. But it was impressive.

Thanks for the clip !!!

(Here's my fav milonga dancers.... and an improvised performance of course .... Pepito and Suzuki)
You're right, i love V&F but i do find their stylised versions of the dances a bit clinical nowadays. Loved that clip

I like Rachel too and think she's in with a shout, but you should see what's being said on the 'Rachel won't win thread' - you'd think nobody female is voting for her.
well i am female and not jealous at all. i must confess i havent voted yet but probably will now the final is getting closer! i think rachel has a lot of fans, they are just the silent majority maybe. or at least silent sizeable proprtion of viewers.

No her marks were NOT harsh
You have just missed entirely my point above

One of the mis-conceptions about Christine IMO (notice I keep putting that in as I'll totally accept that it my opinion) is that she isn't competitive if she's not then why the comment about it being a 'marathon not a sprint' and about climbing the leaderboard or words to that effect - I think she's as in it to win as everyone else and I don't degrudge her that but I do get annoyed that people appear to be voting for her because of that IMO mis-conception that she isn't.
Firstly, I don't ever assume that anyone is expressing anything except their own opinion unless they expressly say so.
Secondly, again - I'm now getting the impression you don't watch ITT which is where much of the context is explained for what the contestants do or say. Claudia said this and Christine for some reason has repeated it a few times. And please, why on earth would anyone be putting themselves through the training that they are if they didn't at this stage want to do their very best?

If you are allowed to vote because of Christine being under-marked then I am allowed to take into account that Jodie didn't get the time to rehearse that other people did through no fault of her own. I'll accept it's not the end of the world and suck it up but I'm a little bit cross about it and I'm allowed to vent. I also thought Lisa was a tad over-marked too and there was gapping between her and Brendan but you're right this is the game and worse things happen at sea.
Again, you've ignored my point. Nowhere did you attack Lisa who was in the dance off and who was chosen over Jodie. You just bypassed this fact and went for Christine's neck.

I don't hate Christine I just don't want her to win because people think butter wouldn't melt in her mouth which is not an opinion I share nor am I alone in this. I'm sure she 's nice enough but it would be nice if it wasn't a popularity contest and had something to do with the dancing especially since you know what someone dances like far more than do what they're like. I'm allowed not to love someone and express that opinion.
I repeat I have never said you are not entitled to your opinion. However you continually express that opinion in such a way as to pretend you are a neutral commentator then I will pull you up on it.

You can't like everyone and I'm sure there are some people who just annoy you on the show.
Not really, I'm on record as saying I think there's something to like about everyone this year. The overmarking, especially of Rachel, annoys me but the celebs are just people, all different but likeable in their own way. By definition I can only have one favourite.

I loved the jitterbug and the bond theme one from series 4.

Was really impressed with Tom, Austin and Rachel in the group dance you could see them hold their own beside the pros.

It's a pity there isn't a three person final because they all deserve to be there. (as did Gethin and Emma, Louisa and Letitia both deserved a semifinal place too.)

I agree, it was bl00dy awful. They should have cut the dancers and concentrated on Barrowman. Especially when he wiggled his bum

Not quite sure how you work that out....this forum isn't representitive of the public I suspect...in fact I'd guess that the only pros that the average punter in the street could actually name are Anton and Brendan - and that's cos their profile has been raised by going on to other things...to most people Matt would be 'thingy, you know, the blond one who danced with Aleesha' . And they tend to be watching the celeb or the overall effect of the dance and couldn't really tell one pro dancer's skills and strength from another to say they love the way pro x dances
I agree. My mum says "the gay one that dances with his wife".

She also sees Camilla as "the one that dumped Brendan". I think my mum has a crush on Brendan
