Wow, was quite surprised that Corky revealed all to a) the newspaper which had vilified his girlfriend a few weeks back; b) revealed something she wanted to keep secret and private; and c) was so outraged at John's defection of the show when Kristina was so supportive. Me thinks, Corky and Kristina are going to be having a very long chat tonight.

Don't believe for a minute that Kristina won't come back for the final. She's doing the Strictly tour and has said that she'd love to be asked back next year and, as has been already mentioned, is a total pro who honours her commitments.

Surely for her the series has gone better than she ever could have expected - new, paired with a no-hoper - lots of praise & publicity, lasted longer than Brian and Hayley who had potentially much better partners.

I understand Corky's feelings: he wanted Kristina to win and wouldn't mind some humiliation (for John, of course) - since nobody would dare to criticize or insult Kristina anyway.
Now, when I look at it from John's perspective, being a sacrificial lamb is not my idea of fun...
Corky is being VERY selfish and irrational.

I don't believe this for a moment,if there is any truth I'd say sour grapes from Corky,can't take anyone with a name like that seriously FGS..Don't forget the U.K. version is envied by the american dancers,it appears to be an accolade to be invited on to the show..Corky's not been invited to the party.
Do wish the papers would give it a rest now, Sarge has gone, everyone knows the vindictiveness that's gone on backstage,and have some idea who the perpetrators are.
I would like this show to have a chance of surviving,it's light entertainment and sadly the purists whether they be judges,celebs, or pros have ruined series 6..If they really don't like the format then stick to the ballroom dance circuit,it's not as lucrative and of course their all important profiles and egos will soon be forgotten..Meanwhile it really is time to move on.

Corky is his real name - I don't really believe all that appears in red topped newspapers but I suppose its natural for him to be disappointed for Kristina.

He has the same right as everyone else to express his opinions.

As for SCD being "light entertainment", it's a light entertainment dance contest. It would not work if the judges, celebs, and professional dancers did not take the dance aspect seriously. Imagine what it would be like if the celebs (including John) hasn't put in a good number of hours every week learning the dances and then came out and gave rubbish performances week after week.

I think John should be court martialed for deserting his post and executed at dawn by firing squad.

She's had more publicity in the past two weeks for free than she will ever get again.
