N Ireland BBC announcer hardly impartial
DerChef

Der Chef says

Just before the show started yesterday he said that

"now John has gone Christine needs all your votes"

ummm I was surprised it was so blatant , however at only 1.8 million people (most watching the X Factor) I would hardly think it will have the Scottish block vote factor we have seen in other reality shows before

Ohh yeah

I heard that but then I'm in Northern Ireland. Was it the same continuity announcer for all BBC regions or just NI?

I dunno...if it's not sympathy voting or political voting or voting-for-the-worst or anti-judge voting or some other tactical voting nonsense...then it's bleedin' regional voting.

Can't you voters just vote for who you like best?

Surely who you like can be determined by a combination of all or any those factors and others too of course?

Der Chef postulates

Cynics have said on here in the past it could be because she is a BBC employee and they could get away with it in N.I.

I personally believe the bulk of Chrsitine's support is from 30 something women voting for the other half of the partnership

Ohh Yeah
