Sounds like people were tuning in in anticipation of seeing John - I don't blame them.

A climax? That's wishful thinking. It's the dullest, naffest series yet, and I used to love SCD. It's so down market now I barely recognise it.

Great concept - it always has been - but it's lost its way completely. Very sad.
