If you want to put in radio commentators and reporters of sports outside football then this is the place.

they normally use Ronald MacKintosh as host and Mike Costello as commentator since John Rawling jumped ship to ITV

John Hyde is covering the snooker for IRN and BBC London.

BBC London's coverage of the Motor Racing Race of Champions at Wembley is by Ian Ramsdale and Mike Lawrence. I wonder if Mike Lawrence is thus reporting for BBC Radio Five Live.

Edinburgh V Glasgow (Magners (Celtic) League RU)

John Beattie, Gary Parker, Peter Wright and Bill Jonstone for Radio Scotland MW / Online.

Listened to the 2nd half of this, rather than go through Setanta and Martin Gillingham and I found it terrible. There's about 40 seconds of actual commentary from Bill followed by the other 3 (and mainly Gary) going off on tangents and asking about 'who they'd pick as (position x)' etc.

Bloody awful.

BBC Radio 5 Live - Gareth Lewis

Bristol V Gloucester (Guinness Premiership RU) (1500GMT KO)

BBC Bristol / Somerset - Andy Champion and Joe El Abd (Updates - 2nd half commentary)
BBC Radio Gloucestershire - Ian Randall (Studio Host) with Andrew Pugh and Andy Wyman commentating (FM / AM)

Newcastle Falcons V Worcester Warriors (Guinness Premiership RU) (1500GMT KO)

Ospreys V Scarlets - Eleri Sion (Host from ground) with Gareth Charles and Rhodri Gomer-Davis (Newport-Gwent Dragons player) as commentary team for Radio Cymru.

Newcastle Falcons V Worcester Warriors (Guinness Premiership RU) (1500GMT KO)

BBC Hereford and Worcester - Dave Bradley (also Host) (20-40) and Nicola Godwin (20-40)
NG did 0-20.

There was also a competition going for tickets to see Worcester against Sale, where they played a clip of a Scottish rugby commentator who retired in 2002 after 30 years of service for the BBC.

Now I wonder who that could've been?

Was it definitely Dagnall for Radio Leicester as, yesterday, Jon Sinclair said he'd be presenting?

I just went by the schedules on bbc.co.uk/leicester. Have they dropped the 'Radio' part from their name yet?
