BBC London's Rugby League coverage today is hosted from The Stoop by Phil Parry.

There is also Netball coverage (that's a first for this thread I'm sure) with Lisa O'Sullivan reporting on England v Jamaica from the O2 Centre.

I recognise the name. Wasn't she a talkSPORT newsreader?

Indeed she was/is. She also can be heard occasionally on BFBS Sports coverage.

She's the sports newsreader on a Sunday afternoon for talkSPORT but isn't on today which explains why.

It didn't sound as though he was there, as for his reports (on talkSPORT) you could hear (like what talkSPORT did for Euro2000) simulated Crowd noise.

That would follow the pattern of non-UK matches so far in the season then

It wouldn't surprise me.

Personally, I don't think there's any need for him to be there if he's just doing a reports service as the cost of sending him far outweighs the benefit of sending him.

Do you think Jack Bannister is in the West Indies for talkSPORT?

Jackie O, as a main presenter Five Live, diabolical, all over the place, even made reference to the cricket in the West Indies as the latest on the Ashes!

Just to round up the other 6 Nations game from Saturday, it was Alistair Eykyn (0-20) Iain Robertson (20-40) and Matt Dawson for 5 Live on Ireland V England. There may have been a fourth person there (Hugo MacNeill maybe?) , but I certainly didn't hear him if he/there was.

Hugo MacNeill was the fourth person in the commentary box.

Jim Neilly and Ryan Constable commentated for BBC Radio Ulster Medium Wave while Michael Corcoran was the lead commentator (presumably with Donal Lenahan) for RTE Radio One. Simon Hick reported for Newstalk 106FM in Ireland. David Brady reported from Croke Park and Simon Ward was at Murrayfield for both Talk Sport and IRN.

BBC Radio Ulster

Ulster V Glasgow Warriors - Adam Coates (Mumbling Studio Host) commentary by Jim Neilly and Ryan Constable* (1431MW / Online). Maurice Field as HT/FT Analyst.

Tyrone V Galway (Allianz NFL) - Jeff Cleffam *
Downs V Cavan - Jimmy Smith

Couldn't get surname properly as a) Host was Mumbling terribly and b) Online feed would flip from 32k -> 16k - 32k and would suffer from audio distortion so Mr Neilly and company would sound horribly sllloooowwweeedd down.
