I tuned into talkSPORT at an opportune moment last night - during the last two overs of the Netherlands innings.

The Kick-Off show cut away from an interview with Hull City goalkeeper Matt Duke to carry commentary on the final over.

It was good they used the rights they had to shift to commentary as the match had become far more exciting than previously expected.

Neil Manthorpe commentated, with input from Danny Kelly in the studio.

Kevin Howells was covering the Womens Twenty20 at Taunton.

The commentators on Sports Extra for Ireland v Sri Lanka were John Kenny (with Phil Tuffnell) and Simon Mann (with Alec Stewart). Reporting on Five Live was Arlo White.

I only heard a little of England v India I'm afraid but the commentary team I heard was Jonathan Agnew and Alec Stewart.

The excellent Chris Bowers reporting on 5 Live from the tennis at Halle yesterday, shame he's no longer involved in the Wimbledon coverage.

For those interested, Jon Norman and Matt Smith were producing the coverage (Ronnie said so during the rain delay).

Due to tonight's result, it appears talkSPORT will only be providing commentary on Sunday's final.

They had been scheduled to be covering Thursday's first semi-final (but not the second semi on Friday), but after England's exit and judging by what Ronnie said during the phone-in I don't think they'll be doing full commentary on either and instead will provide reports and maybe commentary on any crucial final overs.

However, a show called 'Cricket Circus' has been scheduled on Saturday between 5-7pm.

Ronnie Irani and Andy Jacobs are going to be presenting, the same pair who initially hosted last summer's Cricket Show.

Cricket Circus was first broadcast on Saturday just gone and hosted by Neil Manthorpe. Don't trust the official talkSPORT website for anything.

Alistair Eykyn (0-20) Iain Robertson (20-40) and Matt Dawson for R5L. Wasn't full commentary as they would switch to:-

with Cornelius Lysaght and the other one

Ian Brown was also reporting on some Cricket match, I think it was a County Championship fixture.

I don't know who the main commentator was during the last two overs of the England v West Indies match (Darren Gough?) but it was absolutely terrible - berating the crownd for not getting right behind England. (I was a captive audience in a coach at Luton Airport so had no choice what to listen to.) It was a timely reminder to me of the quality of BBC Radio's commentary teams.
