All she was doing was laughing throughout the Louis incident. She didn't stick up for her, or ask her what's wrong. Do these 2 ever speak to each other?!

Because it was random and not needed. I don't think any of them quite knew why she was crying.

I don't think Cheryl likes Dannii.
After all she used to slagg her off some years ago.
It makes her look even worse

She was laughing because she knew that it was all silly play ground behavior.

i don't think Cheryl even realised she was crying at first but then she did put her arm around her (well...kind off )

She probably didn't know how to deal with it. I'm was disappointed in Cheryl though. When she lost Laura, Dannii was seen turning to her to comfort her and probably apologise.
Cheryl didn't seem to care at all. At least Simon stood up for her.

Did she?

I don't think Cheryl really knew what to do, tbh; I don't think she realised what was going on!

Probably because it's all panto.

The crying was very OTT, Dannii is a grown woman who can fight her own corner.

So just coz Dannii is a grown woman, others are not allowed to show their support?
That's ridiculous.

I was annoyed that Cheryl didn't tell Louis to shut it. Dannii comforted Cheryl and half-hugged her when Ruth (Dannii's act) survived over Laura (Cheryl's act) and yet Cheryl can't even defend Dannii (who was in tears) and tell Louis (who sent home Cheryl's act and annoys Cheryl all the time) to shut it.

Simon didn't seem aware at first either. When she wasn't introducing Rachel properly, he and Cheryl were just sitting smiling happily.

After JLS's performance, Simon, Cheryl and Danni all jumped up and left the panel really quickly as the ads came on. I don't think Cheryl and Danni usually do, although Simon quite often nips out for a quick smoke.

I agree. And she's supposed to be the fearless one standing up to Simon blabla,
but she couldn't say anything when her fellow judge was crying or give her a hug.

If not when it was, she could have done it after the show on Xtra Factor.

After JLS's performance, Simon, Cheryl and Danni all jumped up and left the panel really quickly as the ads came on. I don't think Cheryl and Danni usually do, although Simon quite often nips out for a quick smoke.
To be fair to Cheryl, mabe she comforted Dannii during the ad break because i'm sure she was upset then.

Like C14E says, Dannii doesn't usually leave at the ad breaks so there is a fair chance Cheryl and Dannii had a word then.

EDIT: or possibly when Rachel's VT was played?

To be fair, I don't think anyone knew at that point exactly what was going on. And also, Cheryl could have comforted Dannii during the break - but obviously we didn't see that. Obviously it would have been nicer if Cheryl had stood up for Dannii like Simon did because the poor woman was obviously in a state but maybe she felt safer just staying out of it. After JLS had performed and Dannii was extremely upset, Cheryl wasn't smiling at all. She was just keeping herself to herself.

Not that she isn't allowed to show support, I don't think Cheryl should be blamed for not jumping to her defence.

I would imagine in the heat of that moment it must have been confusing and hard to know wtf was going on. I wouldn't slur Cheryl over it

But Dannii should be blamed for crying?
She could have shown a little bit of compassion.

Simon and Cheryl didn't even seem to realise what was going on,as Simon was also just smiling away. You can't comfort someone if you haven't even realised they're upset.They/Cheryl probably did comfort her while we were being shown Rachel's VT anyway.

Well, thats a little bit silly. I don't think I said that.
I don't think Cheryl was not showing compassion. She was hardly sitting there laughing her head off at Dannii. I wouldn't have got involved in that live on tv either!

You said her crying was OTT...
Anyway, I would have supported Dannii, especially as a woman.
I really wouldn't care if it was broadcast over the whole world.
