As an Austin fan, I'm not convinced it's him but I think the dances are accurate!

Confirmed on the BBC site that Tom is doing the Samba and the Waltz. Austin is doing the Paso Doble and the Foxtrot.

So...

Austin - Paso and Foxtrot

Christine - Salsa and Tango

Lisa - Cha cha and Foxtrot

Tom - Samba and Waltz

Rachel - Cha cha/Paso and Waltz/Tango

I think they've all got one dance that will really suit them.
Tom with the waltz (ive always quite liked camillas choreography for that dance too).
Austin with the foxtrot
Christine with salsa
Lisa foxtrot.
However at the same time i do think Christine will struggle with the tango, Lisa with the cha cha and Tom with the samba.
Austin might do okay with the paso as his tango was good and he can to the "agression" type face.

Ohh I do hope Brendan uses the music he was going to use for his Foxtrot and Cha Cha Cha with Kelly last year before he had to pull out... pretty sure seeing Lisa's reacions on ITT tonight to their foxtrot music...I remember it was:

Unforgettable by Nat King Cole - Foxtrot
Heard it through the Grapevine by Marvin Gaye - Cha Cha

I'm sure Lisa will suit both dances, hopefully she'll work on her latin technique and leg action..Worried for Christine, she didn't suit the aggression of the Paso so the Tango may not be her dance, but the Salsa may well be!

I think Christine is screwed basically; I think with those dances she is definately going to be bottom; no wonder she's trying to get tomorrow off work

If shes as popular as people claim then it doesnt really matter how she dances, she can still get through on public vote, it the semi finals where she needs the judges on side.

I could imagine her doing the salsa well as its a smiley sort of dance. The one she'll really struggle with is the tango.

The real problem is there have been some incredibly good tangos this series, so they are going to have be particularly stunning if they are going to impress the judges. I think (hope) she may pull it off - she has certainly improved since the week she did paso - but she'll really struggle if she has to go head to head with Rachel on a tango.

I actually think Austin may find the paso difficult, given his problems with his upper body. Some of his lines could be awkward. It will be interesting, at any rate.

Whilst I agree that Christine is popular; but is she topping the vote?

Assuming Lisa ranked bottom of the public vote last week Christine came at least third. If she only came third and with diminishing people then she could be out come saturday.

If she is topping the votes then she may stay in another week; but it will depend on where the others have placed.

Christine might not even be bottom of the leaderboard they've all got a tough dance. I do agree if shes going "head to head" with Rachel on a tango thats when she could be in trouble with the leaderboard.
I dont think Rachel will be doing the tango though, i reckon she'll do paso and waltz.

Of all the celebs, I cant see tom being in danger. I have a funny feeling tom will be getting at least 2 10s with his waltz this week. It could be his week to shine.

This is the second week on ITT that Claudia has made a very unsubtle hint at the votes for Christine.

Last week......You need to go away and work out just how big your vote is.

This week........how do you feel about having such a massive vote.

I hope she does well personally, and feel sorry for her and Lisa as they are the only ones still working.

Its going to be fascinating......Tom will need to really nail that footwork in the waltz as there can be no tap dancing or jumping about to disquise it.

Wow - great song choices for Lisa if that's what they're using. Lisa's taste in music is very similar to mine so I won't be surprised as I know she'll love these!

(Edit: sounds like I know her personally - I don't, but I've "known" her for many many years)

I hope so too. I really want Lisa to go through on the public vote. She's my favourite this week!

I think Tom will top the leaderboard as the 2 dances he's got really suit him. I hope he gets his first 10 too! If he tops the leaderboard, Rachel and Lisa could end up in the bottom 2 and it'll be byebye Lisa

Christine has 2 tricky dances, I think she'll struggle to avoid the bottom spot. I hope Matthew has stayed away from the Michael Jackson back catalogue this time

I'm sure Austin will do a very good foxtrot, but he may struggle with the paso. Erin needs to get Ian or Brian in...

That's not what they're dancing to. We've been discussing it on the B&L thread. She announced on her radio programme that it is:

Foxtrot - Walking My Baby Back Home by Nat King Cole
Cha Cha - Tears Dry on Their Own by Amy Winehouse

Ahh right thanks for correcting me! Still both absoloutly great tracks! Can't wait to see them in action now

OMG! I'm going to vote for them on their chacha track alone! Can't imagine it as a chacha yet but will still vote. That is my favourite Amy Winehouse track.

Their foxtrot will be emotional too.

it will have to be a speeded up 'dance' version of the amy w track - eek!

A lot of presumptions going on -

Rachel if she has paso or cha I wonder if she will 'act' them

Christine might surprise us in tango

Austin - Erin needs to get some help with a paso routine

I think some of the couples may well surprise us on Saturday. For instance, Christine has really come on since the Paso, so she may be able to tackle the Tango with a little more ease. We'll probably have a better idea once we see the training footage tomorrow. I think Tom is going to top the leaderboard on Saturday, though. The Waltz is a relatively straightforward dance that he should be able to master, no problem. The Samba is more difficult, but he's managed to deal with the other latin dances so far with no issues - I expect he'll put in a decent performance here too.

Is there any update on Rachel & Vincent's dances?
bridgerton
26-11-2008
According to the BBC message boards, Rachel and Vincent are doing the Paso Doble and the Tango this week. Two similar dances. Not sure if this is actually true though.

I can't believe that they will have both of these dances together - however, in series 2 both Jill & Darren and Denise & Ian danced these in the semis.

I think it was Aled who had these two dances in semi-final week - the week he got knocked out.
CityofRoses

Aled, Jill & Denise all danced the Paso/Tango in the semis, I wish they'd go to back to trying to get as many of the same dances as possible in the later stages, it's better when you can compare the dances.
