Can't say I'm anti-Hayley, she seemed nice enough. She just didn't really make much of an impression on the show for me, to be honest, and her choreography didn't set my imagination alight either. Still, I'm all for her coming back next year with a better partner, see if she can do better second time around.
I like Hayley. I don't think she's had much chance to shine yet. She's quite quiet and she had a fairly quiet partner.
Of the other two newcomers, Kristina found herself more in the limelight really because of her partner. (Although I think she's very lovely, before Kristina fans protest! ). Brian is very outgoing.
Just one point. Matthew Cutler's personality didn't really come across as much in the first two series, but now he's quite rightly one of the more popular professionals.

I enjoyed Hayley's choreography in her and Mark's Tango .
And that is a good point VL - If Hayley is to return next season, though sadly I am doubting it highly, she could easily become one of Strictly's favourite's.
Not anti-Hayley as just a bit meh towards her. Brian and Kristina, on the other hand, have both been fab this year and I would absolutely love them to return in 2009!
I don't think Hayley's really had a chance to show what she's capable of this series. I have to admit I wasn't really a big fan of her choreography with Mark but then he wasn't the most "gifted" of dancers for her to choreograph for. I also think it would be nice to watch her in more of the pro dances, she hasn't really had a chance to stand out.

Her Ballroom dancing is beautiful. Her Latin is fabulous too, to say she is a Ballroom expert.

WHO IS THAT?
I thought she was so blah as a choreographer and a personality that it was difficult to notice her strengths. Or even to notice her at all.
Some people seemed to have something against her from before SCD. Maybe it was just because they'd already decided about her because of how she'd been in some other show.
The rest just seemed to be the usual business of disliking a woman for no good reason and saying she lacked personality.
She might have made more of an impression if she hadn't joined at the same time as Kristina and Brian. Compared to them, both as a dancer and as a personality, she just fades into the background.

You are wrong on both counts.
I never heard of Hayley before this season.
I happen to like Kristina who is anything but blah, even though in terms of good looks Hayley is more "my type" than Kristina.

She was also unlucky to get Mark too whom is also quiet and wasn't a good dancer. I think if she'd got a more exuberant or talented person at her side she might have shone more.

Have I not been paying attention or am I right in thinking that she hasn't been back for many pro dances? I don't remember seeing her since she left, but maybe that's the point... she doesn't leave much of a lasting impression (unfortunately for her).

Her Ballroom dancing was OK and nothing more, her latin dancing was poor and routines too, she isn't of a high enough standard for SCD in UK she got away with it in New Zealand but not here she doesnt compare in any way to some of the dancers on the show (ie Lillia etc) and IMO was a very poor choice indeed
She doesn't seem to have been in many of the pro routines, and Mark wasn't the most interesting of contestants, so she hasn't had much chance to make an impression.
On what we've seen though I half hope she won't come back. I thought her choreography for Mark was quite dull, and in the pro dance she did with Brendan to Handbags and Gladrags, I thought they were totally outclassed by Darren and Lilia.
