Lovely video by a well-known Rhyd fan here. Some photos I haven't seen before, like the one of him when he's a toddler with the punch bag (plus, for you ladies, a close up of him crouching on THAT Piano. Steady

). Very nice. Amazing that his live version of the winner's song sounds far better than Leon's recorded version. How embarrassing is that?

Phantom, Get The Party Started and You Raise Me Up. All 3 are great, GTPS is great showmanship and You Raise Me Up is beautful sung. Phantom is superb, I've never actually seen it so want to check it out now (1987 or 2004 versions).

The vocals on GTPS are amazing. I also really like the vocals on Go West - I don't know why everyone dissed that song...

The winners song probably wasnt right for Rhydian but I have to agree - maybe Leon felt the lyrics more, I don't know - but Rhydian has a far more "musical" sounding voice than Leon, his version is much better.

I have found one here - I'm sure I remember a better one than this - it doesnt quite work as Rhydian's version is in a different key.
