I love that phrase - what a fabulous way to sum it up "entering the national consciousness"

I remarked the other day that he is now just referred to as just "Rhydian" whereas the others are always "Leon from the X Factor" or "Hope from the X Factor"

"entering the national consciousness" really makes it sound like someone big or something big has happened! It's a bit like reporting first contact or something. You sort of expect cheering on the streets
