morning/evening rats!! just back from the Glasgow gig,absolutely brilliant,Rhydian was in fine form,got a brilliant reception from everyone,crowd went crazy when he came on,he had the sky blue shirt on tonight got great footage from YRMU,Somewhere and the finale song,no leg kicking this time but im convinced I got a wave,I didnt want it to end FF was next to me with her POL felt a bit guilty I didnt have mine,my friend wasnt into the xfactor but she's loving Rhydian now, so much Ive convinced her to come to Bolton if there is still tickets left!!!!!!!!!

I live in the west country- can't get to any X-Factor gigs. Originally that was because I only wanted to see Rhydian, and was prepared to wait for any solo tour he does. All these reports and vids- I am just so envious, now. Bolton would be perfect- I'm busy that day but now I wish I'd cancelled everything else and planned to Go North!! The people who are going are already sooo excited.

I was going to wait for a solo tour,but they added another tour date in Glasgow an I was lucky enough to get front row seats or else I would of hung off,I cant get Go West out my head after tonight,my all time fav is Somebody to Love,I love all his performances though,my friend and I are hopefully going to make it to Bolton but I think we'll stay in a different hotel,the same one as Rhydians!!

WOW you must have had fantastic views of the stage-lucky you. I know what you mean about Go West. Although it was the most poorly received song on the X-Factor programme everyone loves it and the way Rhydian sings it is deeply embedded in my soul now. Seeing the vids of him singing it on the tour it seems he has made it a real crowd raiser. I love all he has sung, my favourite depends on my mood! Good luck with Bolton.
Thanks for the reports on the two Glasgow concerts - it sounds like they went very well. I am so happy for Rhydian - it must be exhausting though with such a gruelling schedule.
The following article is not about Rhydian at all but when I read about the back-stabbing and jealousy that Connie Fisher is experiencing, I'm not sure it isn't best to concentrate on the singing career first and maybe do a shorter guest stint in a musical, such as 3 months or so. It seems she is really struggling now. However, she is generally not liked which doesn't help. I'd hate to see it happen to Rhydian though. The theatre world is not an easy environment to be in especially if the other cast members think you haven't had to work the years towards the success that they have. Rhydian said it is a jealous and bitchy world in one of his videos so I suppose he knows what to expect, and he is a really nice guy which helps:

Eek...I'm going to see her last night in The Sounds of Music tonight! 200 tickets sold in Cardiff...in her home country...that's pretty shocking.
My Dad is a big fan of hers, I'll have to try and stop him getting The Mail today, lol.As you said though, Rhyd is not only a really nice person, but he is uber professional, so I couldn't imagine the, 'Most Unpleasant and unprofessional...' label being thrown at him.

I never really understood the appeal of Connie. But you are right, as Rhydian is going to be recording and doing concert performances I think that by the time he does do any stage theatricals he might be a bit more established in the profression. And as he didn't actually win XFactor he doesn't have that hanging around his neck. XFactor brought him to the attention of the public and if he survives for long enough to obtain a role on the West End Stage it will be because he was good enough to rise above the competition (no offence to the competition though).
