I think 'if' belongs there even if Rhydian had won. Winning is also no guarantee of success. The next year will be crucial. At the moment the concerts are played in front of audiences who are already won over through the show, but their numbers are not enough for success in the wider world of music and their loyalty is as yet not tested. Rhydian, Leon and SD will need more than the 100, 000 or so who have attended the concerts and not all of these will be fans or buy their albums or attend their solo tours.
But I think Rhydian has a good chance because he has more than just a great voice and, so far, does not seem to be labelled as a reality show artist because he is so different.

Said this before, but Rhydian's main market will be the US. There's no other explanation for Simon's '£20 million in 5 years' prediction.

I'm really hopeful that he does make it, but he needs a wider fan base than the XFactor audiences as you say.

I`m really panicking now........fell over the cat yesterday and done my back in and I am supposed to be going to Sheffield tomorrow At the moment I can hardly walk so I`m keeping everything crossed I can make it tomorrow (might have to be on a stretcher)

Delilah is the fan song for Stoke City supporters ( I was brought up in Stoke) so Rhyd would go down a storm there

You will be alright. Get someone to go to the chemists for you and they must tell the chemist it is an absolute emergency of the highest priority - because not only are you going to see Rhydian but there are people depending on hearing the feedback from you. There must be something you can put on your back and then strong painkillers for the evening. It will be OK, don't worry.

Hope you feel better soon. My tip, depending on where you're sitting now, go to casualty, lay it on thick and get them to give you some crutches. My friend did that years ago and they spotted him hobbling in, called him to the front and he & his girlfriend had much better seats. right at the front.

That doesn`t sound like a bad idea..............the way I feel at the moment I think I need crutches I guess it`s like at a football match - the disabled people are allowed to sit at the front
