Don't worry it would be pumped full of non fattening chemicals to make it taste just as good.

:hands out dry Ryvita to all that want:

I think its the way that we are conditioned nowadays, the "thou shalt not" brigade seem to think that we all want to live forever, and seem to be telling us that anything that is pleasurable in the slightest will shorten our lifespan, and make us die a painful death.

I accepted a long time ago that I am going to die, and given the pain that my body gives me sometimes, I wouldn't want to last much beyond my sixties or seventies to be honest, so if I want chocolate, or wine, then I am going to have it.

Quite - and what would be the fun in chocolate and wine if it wasn't bad for you.

Exactly - it would be like taking a bath with your clothes on - pointless.

If your following a healthy lifestyle a few squares of chocolate won't harm you.

By a healthy liestyle I mean eating your 5 a day, and doing some forms of excersise and activity. Also - eating proper healthy meals.

Eat plain chocolate, with the highest coco content you can find. It is MUCH healthier, and a far more sophisticated flavour.

Sadly, Fat/sugar-free, invariably also means 'taste-free'

But chocolate IS one of your five a day - it is made from derivatives of the cocoa bean, and everyone knows that beans are vegetables.

It's the fat content and the fact that it melts at body temperature that makes chocolate taste as good as it does.

If there is a Creator then he has a bad sense of humour by making Sugar unhealthy. The Creator knows that people will like it yet he makes it unhealthy for us and also addictive and he knows that when mixed with other ingrediants some will find it better than sex.

i quite like white chocolate, but can only have a few pieces as i find it quite sickly.

similar to the topic but does anyone know the difference between american chocolate and british chocolate? i had some american stuff and it wasn't the same as the british stuff? is it just less sugar or what and if thats the case, is it healthier? im not saying chocolate is healthy, just in comparison to british chocolate?

Taking the washing-up in as well kills three birds in one go and saves the environment.

I don't know of its the same in the US but in Australia they add something to prevent the chocolate melting too quickly, makes it taste horrible.

No, its a bit like the stuff that you get in advent calenders, except that it can be eaten all year round.
