I think it was mostly Devil worship and black magic and generally utilising their malevolent powers in the pursuit of absolute evil.

And they weren't very good at that either!

To answer seriously, Len was a pro ballroom dancer, judge and teacher, I believe.

Bruno, Arlene and Craig are all choreographers! I think the panel should have 2 ballroom judges and 2 choreographers because Arlene, Craig and Bruno are all looking for the same thing.

Arlene in particular is a very well respected choreographer and was very well known in the dance world long before Strictly. Apart from choreographing for Hot Gossip (lol) she also choreographed the film of Annie and loads of stage shows.

I believe they were respected in their own field. I hadn't heard of any of them - imo they would have continued to be unrecognisable were it not for SCD; they wouldn't even have made the Z list. Makes it even more curious that all of a sudden they think they can inluence the public vote.

imo 'getting too big for their boots' rings a bell or two.

They will disappear as quickly as they came..........I cant see any show wanted to get these four together again.

Yes Arlene is over 60

craig was allegedly a rent boy i believe, should have stuck to that cause he is a pain in the ass on SCD

I've just finished reading Craig's auto-biography; it is an eye-opener I can tell you.
I'm quite impressed as he has been in quite a few big stage musicals as an actor/dancer/singer in the 80's/90's. He's worked with some famous people & when he got older went into choreography. He's a trained dancer; tap, ballet, modern, jazz, (I bet he could get his leg as high as Bruno's if he tried!) so I must admit I do have more respect for him now. The rent boy thing is over-hyped media exaggerating his liason with an older man he wrote about in his book imo. Basically he was a toy-boy/gigolo & let this chap keep him but from what he says if it's true he did n't go out prostituting himself to all & sundry, like they make it sound.
I can remember Arlene & Bruno in the 80's too & probably saw Len on Come Dancing in the 70's, as my Mum loved it & I used to fall asleep on the sofa as a young child watching it with her, waiting for my dad to come home from late shifts, (he was a policeman).

tell you this though my mother is older than arlene but looks like she is in her early 50's, so the face lift and botox has NOT worked for arlene,

Thanks for the question. As the tone of the thread is already set, there's no point in answering the question.

Needless to say that they are probably all vile scum or something. Just to keep the tone going.

Some of you need to get over stuff.

I'd say Arlene was famous long before before she did SCD.

I know nothing about the dancing world, but I could have easily named her from her Hot Gossip fame. No one had ever seen anything like it at the time because it was so different and much more aimed at the younger market than Pan's People or any other dancing - Arlene's Hot Gossip was new and exciting. And I don't think she looks bad for her age at all!

I had not heard of any of the others, but I'm sure they are all well respected in their fields for their experience and would have been partly chosen for this reason and partly chosen for their personalities and how they came over on screen.

I am not absolutely sure, but I think perhaps Len used to mark the dance bits on Generation Game.

Craig is a serious choreographer. He's twice Olivier-nominated (Oscars of the London stage world).

Totally agree ~ they go on about the integrity of the dance credentials on the show, yet 75% of the judging panel wouldn't be eligible to actually judge ballroom / latin outside of a reality tv show....

You get far more useful information about the choreography and performances from the pros on ITT during the week, rather than the inane alliteration and faux bitchery of the judging panel.
