A nice person with a pleasant personality and a reasonable dancer, but of the 5 left, she is by far the worst and is easily outclassed by the others - but never in the dance-off so far. First time she is, goodbye Christine. She is the new underdog and gets public support.

and why not, we all love a trier and in this case the girl CAN dance, certainly a lot better than that hyped up rachel thing, sorry but she just leaves me cold,

It's time to do what the judges ask and vote for the best dancers. Christine should have gone instead of Jodie. Her cha cha was weak.

I would agree that Christine is now the outsider. Rachel and Tom and Austin are all on a par IMO and Lisa's not far behind. It does seem like Christine's got pretty good public support though...so yes, maybe she has inherited John's mantle a little.

When the judges pay my phone bill then they can dictate my vote - until then either my vote (and my phone bill) are my own - or I leave it to the judges and don't vote at all.

On the Betfair board Lisa is more of an outsider than Christine.

Never underestimate the power of the public vote.

I certainly will not spend my money voting how the judges tell me to. They've tried that and come horribly unstuck.

oh please please don't put Christine through what John had to put up with. i can see people (and judges) turning on Christine now.. I dont believe Jodie was a better dancer or a better person than Christine. in my opinion she was at the same level as Jodie. and i think Christine is learning and hopefully continue to improve. i loved her reaction, when they called out her name.

The backlash has already started.

I hope Christine has a good week next week and stays in a while longer.

Rachel may leave you cold- but that does not mean she can't dance. Lisa isn't my favourite, but I can see that she is a good dancer. Christine has the potential, but she hasn't had a wow dance yet IMO, where as I think the others have.

xx

Christine has zero chances of winning, unless she learns to dance. You're wasting your money voting for her as it will end in tears I'm afraid.

Good luck navigating her through the semi's.

Gethin on ITT said she reminded him of his journey last year. Oh, how I laughed!

I have always thought the dancer at the bottom should be in the dance off and in past years that seems to have happened but this year is mad - on many levels!

I think the dance off should have been her and Jodie and I would have saved Jodie thought she was better out of the two.

What annoys me most about Christine isn't even her - its Adrian Chiles (sp) finding as many was as he can to bring SCD up on the One Show and tout for votes for her or to get her to - they even made t shirts! He finishes on a Friday saying vote for her even if she's rubbish.

Christine - shut him up he's spoiling you for me!

But quite possibly getting her the votes needed to put her through each week!

I think Christine will do just fine...........its all the poision thats spread, I dont believe it.
I think Christine looks good, she enjoys herself and she loves it.
She is the SCD heart now that Jodie has gone.
Rachel I find cold and boring
Austin, - he does not look like he is enjoying it.
Tom - desperate to win
Lisa, her pleading is putting me off and the constant tears .

in my opinion she can't dance and this may knock you ladies for six but i simply cannot warm to a moomin, i supported heather, cherie,,jessie, jodie and still support christine because i feel attracted to them whereas rachel just reminds me of well a moomin, she is just a very plain average girl who has no endearing talents or features that make me want to give her any support,

maybe if she was a bit more pleasing on the eye to me then it would be different but to all intents and purposes she is not,

I think your reading it wrong, I think he is pleading to get on the show himself.....so if he acts like a big fan, he will get asked next time.

I thought it would have been her and Jodie in the dance off with her leaving this week!

I think there has to be some credit given for the fact that Christine has a JOB that must interfere with training.

Neither Austin, Tom or Rachel appear to have other commitments and can train as many hours as there are in the day.

I agree that Lisa also has her radio job, but I honestly think radio especially early morning is easier than live television.

a moomin?

To be honest this is the first year where i've not felt strongly about any of the couples. I do agree with the majority that Austin, Rachel and Tom are the top 3 but i really dont mind who wins this year. Theres no one thats really wowing me.

But who's to predict what would've happened in the dance-off? I just watched it on iPlayer, and to me Jodie looked completely lost half way through with her footwork. Christine might've pulled it out the bag - we will never know! Get over it!

I dont think thats a fair comment. Austin has 4 kids!! Thats just as hard work as a tv job not to mention all the travelling he has to do from the north or wherever he trains and tom got married, filmed his final scenes in holby and had a honeymoon whilst on the show.
Just because Christine is th eonly one with a tv job it doesnt mean shes the only one with the hectic lifestyle. Im sure they are all busy not just her. They all knew what they were letting themself in for. And actually it looks like the one show is doing christine a favour with the votes not a disadvatage.
