Neither Austin, Tom or Rachel appear to have other commitments and can train as many hours as there are in the day.
I agree that Lisa also has her radio job, but I honestly think radio especially early morning is easier than live television. I didn't feel like the cha cha suited Christine, but it was not awful, and she has had a run of good dances lately that make up for this week, in my opinion. |

A nice person with a pleasant personality and a reasonable dancer, but of the 5 left, she is by far the worst and is easily outclassed by the others - but never in the dance-off so far. First time she is, goodbye Christine. She is the new underdog and gets public support.

I thought Christine looked dam hot, her dress or lack off, her long legs, amazing figure.
Her face is beautiful and her smile radiant. She is the only celeb who shines within |

in my opinion she can't dance and this may knock you ladies for six but i simply cannot warm to a moomin, i supported heather, cherie,,jessie, jodie and still support christine because i feel attracted to them whereas rachel just reminds me of well a moomin, she is just a very plain average girl who has no endearing talents or features that make me want to give her any support,
maybe if she was a bit more pleasing on the eye to me then it would be different but to all intents and purposes she is not, What you actually mean is "I think she's dull and can't perform her dance". That's absolutely fine, many have that opinion. You just need to express yourself properly or you run the risk of having nobody take you seriously, IMO.Christine can dance, but nowhere near as well as the others. However, what you probably see (I wouldn't disagree with you) is that she often PERFORMS better than some of the others. |

I dont think thats a fair comment. Austin has 4 kids!! Thats just as hard work as a tv job not to mention all the travelling he has to do from the north or wherever he trains and tom got married, filmed his final scenes in holby and had a honeymoon whilst on the show.
Quite frankly , like most men getting married, pretty well all Tom would have needed to do was get dressed and turn up. And that was weeks ago now, surely it doesn't still count, or do you get wedding lagged like jet lagged? |

It's time to do what the judges ask and vote for the best dancers. Christine should have gone instead of Jodie. Her cha cha was weak.

Me and my old man also had 4 kids. He worked a 40 hour week. Like most people do. I doubt Austin is literally left looking after the children while his wife does her nails. Plus as we saw 2 of the children are at school. I think erin does a lot of the travelling during the week for training.

But she CAN dance. She is usually almost technically PERFECT.

yes i think she is dull and can't perform her tasks as well as others, another thing is that i still believe some have an unfair advantage over others, i.e rachel, aleesha (but i liked her) who were competent dancers before hand, and that is also a huge bug bear with me,

, Its the same as saying actors are at an advantage as they should be good at performing and storytelling, people like christine and john are at an advantage as they are on the one show every day which is good promotion for them, sports players are at advantage because of there competitive nature which makes them push themselves harder. Rachel and Alesha werent anymore privileged then the rest, they all have unfair advantages if thats what you want to call it. |

you dont know how hectic any of there lifestyles are, so i dont think its fair to just presume Christine has it toughest just because you see her on tv. Im sure Christines normally quite high up on the training leaderboard so she cant be finding it that hard to train.
She never complains but she must be making a huge effort to rack up the training hours. |

You have put that beautifully Casper. She has a certain something. She makes SCD really sparkle.
Thank you...... ![]() Everytime I see her on the dance floor, she makes the place shine. She is the heart of SCD, and everyone who sees her smiles. ![]() She is like a diamond in amongst the rough.....

Was Christine outclassed on Saturday night ??.......i would have to say she was.
Should she have been in the dance off ??.......for me yes......would she have stayed over Jodie ??...who knows ??. I am very undecided about Christine, there are aspects of her personality i don't really "get" but that could be me. The only dance i have seen her truly get lost in is the Jive. If she turns in a performance next Saturday like this Saturday and avoids the dance off i truly believe this will not be a good thing for her or Matthew given the negativity that will surely follow. They have had a fun experience up to now (as far as i know ) and i wouldn't like to see any negativity change their memories of their SCD experience together. I'd like her to give up The One Show this week (and Lisa the Radio show) so they are all on a fairly level playing field from an any other "job" point of view. For me next Saturday is the last chance Christine has to convince me she deserves to stay (big deal i know ) ,just being "nice",smiling a lot, long legs, being beautiful dosen't cut it with me ......i want the best dancers in until the end.Massive week for her to step up to the plate,if she dosen't IMO (and i accept we all have different opinions) she deserves to be gone. What's so bad about 5th place anyway ?? that's a massive achievement for both her and Matthew considering where she started from and maybe that is the top level of her potential SCD wise. |

I think Christines choreography was far more difficult than she was given credit for.......it was undermarked.

Christine is stll in because she gets the Northern Ireland vote, she will unfortunately never be in a dance off, I just wish she was , I would love to see her voted off.

I think her personality shines through. Lisa and Rachel...well they're still digging around trying to find theirs. I've never seen such a couple of cold fishes on one tv show in a long while. Oh and I could put Austin in there too...just to show that I'm just not picking on the girls. |

What I like about Christine is that mo matter what criticism she gets from the judges she never starts blubbering, but takes it all graciously and with a big smile. I'm sure she has decided to enjoy every moment of SCD no matter what happens.

Um, can we wait and see how she dances next week, perhaps?
I agree, she isn't one of the strongest dancers left and I doubt she will either make it to the final or win. She is not, however, as clearly the weakest dancer as some posters on here imply. After Saturday's performance, I would argue that she, Jodie and Lisa are all about even (my opinion, clearly not the judges'; I am still struggling to see the strengths they see in Lisa's dancing). It is not unreasonable to me, therefore, that Jodie should have left this week (we will never know what would have been the result if Christine had been in the dance off). Nor would it have felt unreasonable to me if Lisa had gone - although last week would have been very unlikely as she is clearly a stronger ballroom than a latin dancer. If Christine doesn't produce something impressive next week, yes, I expect she will go - no injustice in that. But based on her jive, samba, foxtrot, waltz and even quickstep, I don't assume that she doesn't have the potential to do so. Much as I love her dancing (and I do, much more than some of the technically superior dancers left in the competition) I am happy to wait and see how she performs! Let's not pre-judge, either way. |

They're obviously close and she must feel bad enough at staying (even though at the time she was astonished and delighted) at the expense of her friend. ![]() Personally I think Lisa is destined to be in the dance -off again - it's a shame, because she is a good dancer, but I guess the public just haven't warmed to her as much as some of the others. But let's wait to see how everyone dances next week before starting with the recriminations and predictions.

I don't think Christine will win (unless, perhaps, she takes Len's advice), but I reckon she'll get to the last three thanks to the public support. Tom and Austin are a shoo-in for the final.
