I can't agree with either of these points. Tom doesn't appear remotely smug to me - but (at the risk of repeating myself) there is something unappealing about Austin, I am not sure what. I think Rachel comes across as unassuming and modest, as does Lisa. I like that better than if she were over the top "zany".

What we should also bear in mind is that most of us don't know these people personally, so the way they come across on television may not be an accurate reflection of their real selves, as Tom's acquaintance has pointed out.

I am really enjoying this thread. It's thoughtful, considered, and without malice which is always a plus. I shall keep hanging around to read people's views. Everyone seems to have something worthwhile to say. Isn't it great!

I think so far this thread's really highlighted the fact that it's going to come down to who performs best on any given night. Everyone has reasons to dislike some people, but they can see the good bits and the bad bits in all the performers - so eventually talent, as ever is going to win through!

Actually doing this made me see who I think will eventually win - and it's not someone who I vote for at present, but probably will do in the final.

If you are looking for the winner, it has to be either Austin or Tom. They will either both reach the final, or one of them will be up against Rachel..in which case Austin will pick up Tom's vote, or vice versa.
So, Austin or Tom ?...I dont buy all this anti-Camilla, anti-Erin stuff..except in these forums. Its very close, but my money would be on Tom.
