I'm not a fan of Rachel, but I did agree with her on some things.

The X Factor does change the acts. The Rachel on the live shows was not the Rachel in the auditions. The Diana in the live shows is not the Diana of the auditions.

They give them ludircous "make-overs" and try to make them something that they aren't.

I noticed the dig at Laura always demanding her own way while the others weren't allowed too.

It does make it look like Simon wanted Laura out even more so after Rachel said that and backs to the press reports about how the production team were pleased Laura went..

I thought she came across really well actually. She was responding to questions asked so wasn't a "moan" as far as am concerned.

I never liked Rachel but i thought it was a good interview. She didn't sit there and nod and agree with everything. She was articulate in putting her views forward and confirmed what alot of people already think.

Agreed, but this is the fifth series and you should, by this stage know what you're letting yourself in for.

She was given the chance of a lifetime. I thought she could have been a little more gracious.

Tis true but

They aged Rachel by 20 years and I would not had felt comfortable in that same situation. You only have to look at Cheryl and see the clothes that she is wearing or Dannii for that matter. I know Rachel has a different figure but you don't see those named judges dressing like old women do you, but that's how rachel was made to dress!

I hope she can find some hope for herself and a career with someone she can trust and get along with. She has a voice I would like to hear - Singing!

You can't really know that. Watching as a viewer is totally different from being a participant.

Why should she be more gracious? It is a chance in a lifetime but she, like the rest of them, worked to get to that point. It wasn't handed to them on a plate.

It didn't help her cause not to be more gracious / humble on the early weeks of the show. Being more gracious this morning would have shown that she really has learned something i.e. how to behave with grace, tact and diplomacy.

She said she wasn't going to name names but a former contestant always got her own way with her songs.

The only other female who has left is Laura. Unless she is referring to one of the girl group singers but I think that's unlikely.

I think the only person it could have been is Laura.

`I didn't enjoy it`she said-Neither did I.
`I wasn't allowed to be myself`-just as well,or Louie would have been mugged.
`I'm a sould singer`-I almost agreed,then realised I'd mis-heard her....

She was talking about Ruth. Ruth was the one who was told to hold back and she said she just couldn't. I am glad she didn't tbh. Her version was better that TT.

What else did Rachel say on the interview?

Were Fern and Philip sympathetic / warm towards her?

I am also one who is glad that Ruth did not hold back on Saturday. She was amazing.

I understand some of Rachel's angst but I am concerned that Rachel could be damaging any chances she had of getting a career in the music biz? If she allows her bitterness to overtake her it will eat her up.

Sorry wrong colour, should be green and yellow.

Anyway, nothing against her personally but as a lone parent my first vocation in life would be to get my kids back if I were in her shoes, nothing else would be in focus. And I would find it unpalatable to know that she was once a granny mugger and who 'did time' when contemplating reaching for her CD on the shop shelf tbh.

I found her nauseating with the whole "feel sorry for me and give me a second chance" sob story then when it back fired trying to asked to be judged on her singing.

She's a horribly arrogant person with a low level of education. People like that should shunned not made in to public figures.
