Digital Camera Dilemma

Hi All

My digital camera decided to die on me last night and I urgently need a replacement - preferably a better one than the Vivitar 5110

So I have looked in Argos (i know but i need it today) and noticed that the following cameras are within my budget

Kodak C913 (9MP)

Samsung NV15 (10MP)

Hitachi HDC1086E (10MP)

Samsung S1065 (10MP)

I am personally edging toward the Samsung S1065 because of the 5x optical zoom but i am a bit concerned that i cannot find any reviews online

Apart from that the NV15 looks good too - but why is the Kodak so much cheaper??? Its all to confusing for me lol

Does anyone have any opinion on which one to get?

Vivitar went out of business this month.
Kodak have a poor reputation (see other posts).
Ditto Samsung.
Take a look in Amazon or Comet's sites for customer reviews.
I'm trying to replace my dead Nikon Coolpix with anything similar
which takes re-chargeable AA's. Most don't.

Jessops are doing a deal on the Fuji Finepix A850, which is much better value for money than Kodak, Vivitar or Samsung. It also takes standard AA batteries...
