The Daily Mirror reports some of the acts are furious that the chosen winners song "hallelujah" .

They feel it will suit Diane more than any of the others and that SImon is doing his best to make sure she wins. .

What a ridiculous song choice for the likes of JLS, Alexandra.;

Anyone for a REAL version of the song by a credible artisst, download Jeff Buckley from itunes (currently No 65) -
L ets get this version to number one- and stick to fiongers up to Simon Cowell.

Why? If they're good enough they should be able to sing it.

Has it been confirmed this is the winners song yet? If it is, then its blatantly obvious they want Diana to win.

Why have you started a new thread when it's already being discussed here, a thread on which you've just contributed....

Hmm... beautiful song but if this is true, surely the rest of them should just pack up now as Diana has already won?

How dare they let these gonks murder a fabulous song. Lets get back to the days of the Shayne 'Thats My Goat' Ward , if we must have these Val Doonican / Daniel O Donnel esque pop starlets then they could provide them with right cheesy song with which to launch their long descent into mediocrity/obscurity & provide a useful quote on the application form for JSA at the job centre.

Given Cowells 'connections' sureley he has the money to employ a songwriter/team to pen a proper original piece of material? Nah just wheel out another cover , lazy , predictable & boring to the last.

Oh great... a campaign against the show by... people that watch the show and post about the show on an internet forum!!!!

It's like people on here are trying to get a mention in the Daily Star.

:yawn::sleep:

Ironically, there are so many versions of this song around, it is probably the song that would give them all a fair chance - probably, a too open minded comment for this forum though.

It's a fix for Diana!

If it's true or not, it's not Diana's fault.

I thought the winner's song was Born to Try.

Agreed - it will suit her style of singing.
Can't imagine Eoghan or JLS doing it very well - they'd have to completely re work it, I should think.

Forgetting the singing styles, I think it is quite controversial that they chose a religious song

She ruins every song, as far as I'm concerned - but the judges and voters seem to think her warbling on this kind of song is great.

Leonard Cohen's version is the original and the best.

It's not a religious song.
