Considering that now almost any Whitney song is considered a "classic" , do you think Alex will go for one to really show what she's made of? I can't see her doing anything else to be honest. If so which song do you think she'll sing?

I hope it won't be Savin' all my love for you as she's done that already but you never know. Hope it's I Will Always Love You or something similar (something that hasn't been overperformed on this how)

Oh I hope not.

Fingers and toes crossed for Neil Diamond's I Who Have Nothing.

We haven't had our annual performance of I Have Nothing yet.

if she does I will not listen to it. I hate Whitney so much. She should do an Aretha Franklin song, but i think we are guaranteed she'll do a Beyonce song.

What's the theme this week? I assumed it would be Britney.

1 Britney song and 1 'American classic'.

LOL. Whatever the case, this week Alexandra is certain to have a "Big diva classic", no matter what. There's going to be plenty of money notes for Alex.

I don't think she will be able to pull of I Will Always Love You, especially in the original key. If she does do it, I imagine it will be lowered quite a bit, just like Without You was.

Leona didn't pull it off, I don't care what anybody says, the big ending was shortened and she didn't have to belt as much as the original Whitney recording required.

She always sings such predictable songs....she needs to find her individuality.
What does she have that makes her stand out from any other young female singer out in the industry at the moment?

I don't think she can pull it off. She can hit the notes maybe, but when she did Without You the other week she showed that her tone was just TOO HEAVY to sound good.

Please Please please dont let her do Whitney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I like about Alexandra is that she is not Leona! I like the fact she has a bit of sparkle, can really dance and gives her best performances when she is doing up tempo songs not boring mariah/whitney ballads which we see year in/year out.

I hope Alexandra does something which carves her out as an individual/and not bring an immediate Leona comparison - I would love to see her rock it out with a Tina Turner song, do something like Riverdeep Mountain High or Proud Mary - it would be perfect for her.

Whitney is so boring, I hope the producers let Alexandra be Alexandra and do something fun and up tempo andnot a wanna be Leona song cause she is better then that!

Unbreak my heart - Toni Braxton

She's can handle the lower end of the register with aplomb, as proved this week.

I'd also like to hear her try something by Heather Small at some point, though this week's gimmick precludes it.

A big/powerful voice and the ability to perform. What singers are like her that are out at the minute?

If she does a Whitney song it will be totally unmemorable...her songs are rather generic anyway and they sound a bit similar.

i'd say listen by beyonce, but then if beyonce is appearing on the final i'd rather alex sang iyt with her then as a duet so second choice would be respect by aretha franklin
