Katie Price

The shouty, beardy man from the cheap double glazing adverts ("I said one oh six, one oh seven NOWWWWW!" - you know the one...)

Alistair Darling

Freddie Starr

I'm sorry I can't come up with any more, I have to go and hurl...

Younger than Brucie I believe that Richard Whiteley would be somewhat less animated - and Carol Voodoowoman could do the scoring.

Could change the style with Gary Lineker and Alan Hansen.

How about replacing Tess with a cardboard cut out (improvement) or the other extreme, Vanessa Feltz.

Seriously though, there were already some pretty horrifying suggestions and of these, if Graham Snorton was to get the gig, I will sadly wave goodbye.

One of my mates met Richard Whately and apparently he was really creepy.
Had the 'pleasure' of spending a fair bit of time with Richard Whitley and yes, he was full of himself. One of the girls he was chasing at Yorkshire Television bumped into him in the car park and he said 'if you were sleeping with me, you'd be wearing a mink coat.' Quick as a flash, she said 'if I were sleeping with you i'd be wearing a disguise!!' Lovely.

I think you'll find Richard Whiteley's dead. That's why they have new Countdown presenters.

Agree, Russell Brand, or Graham Norton, Vernon whatsisname or Ant n Dec. Ruinous choices, any of these. The host is far too important to let just anyone do it.
it is rumored that if bruicie ever decides to leave..

graham norton is rumored to be i the line up!!

..and that was my attempt at humour - in his current state Richard Whiteley would be significantly less animated than Brucie...

Yes we could then make it a competition based on dancing technique, and not personality.

And move it to 11:00pm on a weekday evening.

And drop Strictly from the title.

but I guess it could never happen.

I think we had better get some consensus here or the BBC may go down the "Have I got news for you" route and sling on a guest presenter every week. Mmm John Sargeant and his long lost sister, Jo Brand

Miaviv I'm surprised that Michael Schumaker's brother triggers such emotion. I think he seems to be forever friendly, patient, supportive of his partners, regardless of their (lack of) ability - Lesley Garrett, Esther Rantzen, Patsy Palmer, Jan Ravens, Kate Getaway and Gillian let's park over there to help your stomach ache get better.

What is it that gets your goat?

How about: -

Kerry Katona!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over to you..................... Let your imagination run riot.

JJ
Some one who tries to be funny like Bruce and essentially isn't - which would mean most presenters and comedians should be disqualified.

Gordon Brown might be my worst. Exaggerated claim, exaggerated claim, joke that about as funny as toothache in 32 teeth at once. He's reportedly watching X Factor though and writing letters to the contestants .......
