extra special huggle.
It is the end of one phase of his career and the beginning of a new phase. Act 1 nearly completed, Act 2...curtain up.”

Ooh I like that theory!

My dad's theory is it's to do with breathing. He's struggled with a stutter all his life and he says it's worse when he's anxious and his breathing is all messed up. So singing is easier cause you tend to practise breathing more for that.

Not at all, Konartel, he sings very fluently - bless him!

a lot of stutterers dont stutter when singing - remember an old friend of mine who's stutter was far worse than Gareths ever was - when he'd had a couple of pints and got his guitar out he could sing the filthiest country and western style 'ditties' from start to finish without one stutter - always shocked people the first time they heard him

Awwww, do you know, that has really cheered me up no end!

What a lovely, humble and sweet young man - and so complimentary about Lee too.

I think Gareth is going to be an excellent Joseph. Bless him, he was incredibly nervous. I'm sure Lee will help him to prepare for the role though.

Found this clip on YouTube, it's the VT from the Final I think, but it includes some of Gareth's first audition.

Also, I'd forgotten he sang MTK on the show

There's an interview from today on youtube:-

That is how they help children to get over it. By having them singing what they want to say
