I respect that some of your views are based upon your own life experiences as of course we all draw on our own life experiences to hold the views that we have of both of them, that is human nature. What concerns me is that you can say what you dislike most about Chanelle is based upon the views held by her fans. I am sorry to say but in my view it cannot be right or just to dislike someone based upon the views of people who dont even know her other than what they have seen on a television programme or read in the press. That is no more than playing a tit for tat game at someone elses expense.

Perhaps you could enlighten me how you are convinced that Chanelle is a poster on these threads. Goodness me I would have thought that she would have better things to do with her time. I am sure that the majority of us are intelligent enough to be able to see through that scenario.

From a legal point of view, I would like someone who is no interest in these forums to consider some of the content.

as far as I know paps aren't allowed inside these clubs hence the reason we never get pictures inside of them. As I said I honestly couldn't care less who she snogs or indeed who Ziggy snogs (although I would be slightly green with envy on that one) they are both free agents so can do what they like to whom they like.

But it just strikes me that anything that is written about Chanelle (well the bad stuff anyway) is rubblish whilst the bad stuff about Ziggy is most certainly true. Case in point being the stuff that was written about Ziggy and Duncan James on here this afternoon, some newspaper claimed that they knew they reason why they fell out - and all of a sudden its the truth, yet the reality is that Ziggy and Duncan were as far as i know childhood friends and had a disagreement about something or other that led to them falling out - has either Ziggy or Duncan every told us what that reason was? Apologies if they have but as far as I know tabloids made a sweeping assumption and low and behold its gospel. There is similar nasty articles about what Chanelle did to childhood friends but they seem to be glossed over or are rubbish?

I agree, they are appreciation threads, and I sometimes post in ZAT, not CAT, but when you read them sometimes, it is as though neither of them can do any wrong, you should still be able to appreciate the fact they people make mistakes and are not perfect.

Apologies I meant to say one of the things as opposed to the thing - my lack of good grammar again I'm afraid I can assure you I am intelligent enough and capable enough to draw my own conclusions to what I feel and don't feel. However I feel you may have missed the point I was trying to make which was that the potential damage to someone who in my opinion (and it is just my opinion) has some issues that putting them up on a pedestal and almost hero worshipping them will actually eventually make the problems much worse.

As for my reasons for why I think Chanelle posts here - I'm afraid I'll keep them to myself as I would not betray the confidence of a friend. Suffice to say I am convinced that she does frequent here from time to time. And I don't find it so strange - many ex-housemates post here.

I'm assuming that you think the legal issues surround possible defamation of character - again I'm pretty sure that DS have a good legal team of advisors that they know the limits of what can and what cannot be said, hence the reason why some posts are removed.

Dont remember seeing anything on here today about DJ and Ziggy, but maybe I missed it. I know Ziggy did say that they had a falling out as did DJ in a magazine article, but I am sure that they were friends again before Ziggy went into the house.

Must admit I have not seen much in the way of negative stories about Chanelle and her childhood friends.

Nickymonger mentioned Duncan James and how Ziggy was disloyal to him it in her earlier post today highlighting the fact I think that Ziggy isn't loyal the way Chanelle is. This was one of the reasons that prompted me to reply today. There are a few stories, and some can be found on-line at the daily star, about chanelle and her friends from school and they don't make pleasant reading. But then again they may well not be true in the same way that some things written about Ziggy are not always true.

As you should if that's the way you feel.

If am sorry to say even if it is only one of the reasons upon which you base your opinions of Chanelle is the actions of some FM's in my view is still wrong and unjust. The actions of other posters should surely not be the basis of any opinion. If that were the case, then I for one would not support Ziggy as I do because if one were to read the ZAT thread at times there are FM's who hold him on the very same pedestal.

Obviously you have your own reasons for believing she posts on these threads and I have my own reasons for believing she does not. If it is the case that she does, then welcome Chanelle, I would be very interested to hear what you have to say. I cannot imagine what she could add to the discussions that take place in any event, except perhaps a bit of truth rather than speculation.

I would prefer to keep my legal standpoint to myself.

I'm not getting a dig at anyone in particular but more explaining why I posted here today (because I do feel that an explanation is necessary otherwise accusations of all sorts fly around).

But as far as I know this isn't a closed thread with select membership - so do feel its ok to dip in and out. Someone mentioned that it was odd that I may flirt from thread to thread, the reality is that I could count on one hand (or perhaps two at a push) the number of threads that I do post on regularly but do read others and if something riles me then I speak out. Just as I did on here this afternoon.

I am a Ziggy fan, although not too obsessive I think as I can see his bad points as well as his good. I don't particularly like Chanelle but that has nothing at all to do with why I like Ziggy - hence the reason why I don't post in here often as its probably not appropriate.
