No not just you! I've had problems since Friday afternoon and It's just come back up tonight! Wonder if it's to do with who your internet provider is because I went to my mam's house (who has skybroadband, and I have orange) and it was working fine there!

Looks like Orange is the source of all evil then!! In case it happens again - how do you change your proxy and what indeed is a proxy?

I'm on orange. I didn't lose it but had to keep re-booting it on Saturday. Was a bit worried because I was on the spoiler thread and thought it would miss out.

Seems OK now.

Oh a proxy is like a different server whilst on your server (which is orange). It uses that to go to a website instead of your server which is helpful! Just search proxy in google or something. Only thought of that because they are useful at school with all the good websites blocked.

Yippee!I'm back too...Some kind Forum member emailed me the proxy server address but it was so much slower,I feel fully functional again.lol.

I have today rung Orange to ask for my MAC code,as after spending the weekend ringing India, and getting nowhere,I have found a cheaper and hopefully much better provider.
*keeps all crossed that they're better!!*

kacyee,you made me LOL!

I'm with Orange and I've had no problems at all.

Sorry. (I don't know why, but I feel all guilty now!)

Yes I have a livebox. I'm probably tempting fate by saying this, but it's been a long time (well over a year) since I had any problems with my connection at all.

Right... wait for me to suddenly vanish for the rest of time....

Lol! I've had mine for 2 years I think now and it has gradually become messed up. At first it was fine but now it doesn't supply wireless to my DS or laptop. Psp fine for some reason...

I've had my livebox nearly 3 years now. I have a pc and laptop connected with no problems and have recently added a Wii. Too add insult to injury (and I'm really sorry about this!), it's also always been fine when friends have come round and needed to connect their wireless laptops, too.

I'll get me coat...

Ooo - in case it helps, I've had my livebox since before Wanadoo changed to Orange, so it's the one with the tasteful pulsating 'W' in the middle.

I ve never had a problem with Orange before this, but it was like I'd lost a major part of me this weekend, sad but true!
But it was the frustration of being told because I don't have an Orange wireless router-they ve never given me one,as I was with Wanadoo before- that the problem might be at my end,and they couldn't test it because of that, well, that got my goat...

However I now realise I need to waste less of my time trawling through DS,I even got my Christmas card list written today, which I ve been meaning to do for ages. Now all I have to do is write the dratted things.

kaycee,a laugh was what was needed after the trauma of no proper DS.lol.
