(Apologies if this has already been said, I've been locked out of DS (Orange server) since last Friday)

Christine finished bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday but didn't end up in the bottom 2.

Leaving personalities/favourites etc., aside, do you think that it is possible that some people who voted for John, will perhaps transfer their votes to whoever is bottom of the leaderboard as a form of protest?

If so, the bottom of the leaderboard could be the safest place to end up?

(...I have an Orange server and DS has been fine for me all weekend...!)

I laughed when Ian said on It Takes Two: "I had reserved that place at the bottom of the leaderboard for us!" (or words to that effect!) It is relatively true, but usually when it gets to this stage in the competition it's not the case (Kenny Logan, Letitia Dean last year).

I don't think any hard and fast rules have been established over the years.

There's some evidence that being in the middle of the leader board can sometimes be a dangerous place to be...but there's never any guarantee or certainty.

I don't really know or care what any of the people who voted for John will do...protest or otherwise. In fact I'd be perfectly happy if none of them ever voted again.

Yes, three times out of a possible 10:

Week 3: Gary
Week 4: Jessie
Week 6: Mark

In the other 7 weeks, Gary, Jessie, John x 4 and Christine have been bottom of the leaderboard (and saved)

Christine is the most popular female (according to the Sunday People) but is not as good a dancer as many of the others. It is quite likely that many viewers who voted for John might transfer their "alliegence" (if it can be dignified by that description ??!!) to Christine.

Christine and Jodie should have been in the dance-off, and Christine might well have gone.
