or knowing when to walk away......
conversation ended......hope thats clear enough. I started out genuinely wanting to discuss this with you, and you've dragged it down to ignorant bickering. Why? (And by the way, that - like all my other questions - is genuine. Don't get all offended and accuse me of starting a fight, just consider it and answer it. That's all it takes to keep things civil). |

I don't think it needs to be addressed tbh. And I don't think there's been in indication that they have lost a lot of respect..By whom?
I also think that most of the pros might disagree sometimes with the judges...but that doesn't mean it's all nonsense or that they disregard their remarks.....In fact I remember Darren in one of the training segments saying to Jessie to watch out on one of her moves, as a certian judge would pick her up on that....... I watch the body language of the pros and to me it says, bored.....its mostly rubbish. Dancing like an stick insect on accid, take your knickers off, and many many more, what on earth is the pro going to do with that.

Since when did "conversation ended" mean anything? Have I missed a new development in the English language...

Conversation over. Sorry to laugh, but surely you can see that post is self-parody. And I agree, we're clearly beyond the point of meaningful discussion - the last word is yours:... |

By the comments I have read on the threads, by posters who have lost respect for the judges and their chosen behaviour.
I watch the body language of the pros and to me it says, bored.....its mostly rubbish. Dancing like an stick insect on accid, take your knickers off, and many many more, what on earth is the pro going to do with that. ![]() In fact I'm sure if you look at the training footage you'll see plenty of footage of the pro's talking to their celbs in a similar language.... eg "you look like a bambi learning to walk"..."stop walking like a duck" Using analogy and "expressive visual pictures" is a tool to get over quickly what's right and wrong...it's fairly common. And it's good - even important - to remember that all these comments are directed at the celebs dancing....which isn't personal. This kind of criticism is something you get used to when you're involved in anything creative..or are in the public eye... |

Stick insect on acid = gangly uncontrolled limbs moving in an uncontrolled manner..... plenty for a pro to work on.
