Back the judges, ignore the papers

Because they won't be happy until they're on the judging panel.
The biggest bullies in the land mark my words.

You are joking OP - right?

The thing is, we have seen the judge's behaviour first hand and they get worse every week. I really believe they think that THEY are the stars of the show.

No I agree with you I think their behaviour is shocking on a family show. But if the papers have got it to so wrong they are open to sue them. Which they wont..coz its all on tape.

As I said on another thread SCD needs to get back to its roots. It seems to me that they have been trying to be too much like X-Factor with the spats between judges, nasty personal comments to the contestants etc. Criticise the dancing but leave it at that. This show had a lovely feel about it & it needs to stick to that. It is an entertainment show based around dance. It was the light-hearted/uplifting feel coupled with glitz & glamour that sold it in my view. Let X-Factor carry on down the bear pit approach.

Sorry - my comments were aimed at the OP not you. As a journalist myself I agree with you! There has been a lot of criticism of news coverage over the last few weeks but a lot of it rings very true to me!

Oh ok,

Im often puzzled by the belief in some, that they can do no wrong. Their behaviour week in and week cant be argued.

The judges have their own agenda- i.e who they want in the final.

Back the judges - you have got to be joking

When the judges demonstrate consistency, maturity and non-bias then I will back them.

Until then, they deserve everything they get.

I think it's hilarious when folk say the judges shouldn't be biased.....

Because of course they're going to be biased...while objective as they can be in the actual marking given their particular specialisms ...but of course they'll all be biased in favour of giving good marks to the best dancers and wanting them to stay. LOL (You might not always agree with them or their criteria but that's a different point altogether)

There's nothing EVIL behind that ...they don't gain anything personally....It's not the Xfactor where the judges are fincially committed to working with the winner.

I actually think that reading a lots of the comments on here.... that perhaps the most significant "changes" are not in the show itself but more in how it's being covered in the press and by how people are choosing to comment or react to that.

The posting on here has become more and more about the machinations of the show and on "mind reading" celebs personality.....and less about the competition itself, the training, the dancing etc

It's sad but it is how forums tend to work and how success and publicity often crap all over your favourite shows.

Sorry to be grumpy but all this is making me depressed

Back your judgement, ignore the twonks who tragically take a trivial telly show too seriously!

Wonderful use of the word"Twonks" ....not heard that in ages...will now be calling everyone twonks, twonking press, twonking dishes needing cleaned!

Thanks that cheered me up

Yes, the best dancers. Not surprising as they are there to judge the dancing.
