Ignorance was used in the opening sequence of Hollyoaks last night.
Oh no! I remember when that damn show used I Write Sins Not Tragedies for Cindy and Tony's wedding. I shook with anger! Hollyoaks is not allowed to like good music.

So, how did everyone end up getting into Paramore? Was it through the Twilight franchise, followed them from the start, or, like me, picked up from somewhere between the end of the All We Know era and Riot era. My brother got me into them. Made me listen to crushcrushcrush. Really liked it and been a fan ever since

I got into them by Ignorance. Radio 1 played it a lot. Then they did the radio live lounge and i got a chance to hear them talk and just chat general. I never got round to buying their album until many months later but i am glad to say Twishit never made me fan.

I am not fond of their other albums but i do like Brand new eyes. I imported more songs recently as only Brick and Ignorance were the only ones i liked. Careful is now one of my favs. The whole album in general is good but took a while to click.

Early 2008. I was watching Kerrang and That's What You Get came on. I'd heard of Paramore but never really did anything about it. TWYG was the first Paramore song I'd heard but I loved it and immediately went to iTunes and listened to all their other songs. A few hours later I went back and downloaded Riot! and All We Know Is Falling.

And the rest is history

I first got into paramore when I first heard the last 30 seconds of misery business on Kerrang! (they were showing the video) my first thought was:

1. That girl has amazing hair
2. She can really sing!
3. I want to know more about them

and that was that. I heard the original version of Hallelujah, loved it, recognised Pressure after googling, heard the newer version of Hallelujah and went into my local shopping centre the following day, picked up RIOT! and was hooked within 20 seconds of the first track.

Just added most of the photos from the limited edition Spin magazine. I've counted, I've added 35 to the collage and I have 3 that are too big so they're going on the wall. hope the collage fits now!

Paramore have been nominated for Best International Band, Best Live Band, Best Album (Brand New Eyes) and Best Video (Brick By Boring Brick) in the Kerrang Awards.

Paramore are currently on the Honda Civic Tour in the US with New Found Glory along with other bands/artists.

here are some videos of their performances. the videos are from fans in the audience so the quality isn't brilliant. The quality on looking up is good though. there are more on youtube.

The only exception has made the top 30 in the US. The biggest hit off the album and their biggest hit since Decode.

I'm not a fan of the support Shame, I was expecting a lot more. From having support as You Me At Six, Paper Route, Kids In Glass Houses etc. I had my hopes up for a band more similar to their genre, if you get what I mean.

Ah well, I could be a convert .

Does anyone know when the Playing God video will be posted anywhere? I'm guessing it would be another live video.

They're releasing it? I love that song...but then I love all of brand new eyes.

look forward to the video.

oh, I'd imagine it will be a live video, seeing as they completed the honda civic tour recently. Right now they're at home taking time off so I wouldn't think they're filming the video.

I'd imagine this will be the final release from BNE.

I was surprised at the support acts too, I was expecting similar bands to paramore, like you said.
Not really surprised at B.o.B as a support as airplanes went to number one over here, and it still gets a lot of airplay. Plus they've (well, jeremy & hayley) always said that they're a fan of rap.

Fun are label mates, and new by the sounds of it. Paramore are arguably the most well-known Fueled by Ramen band, more so recently. I heard one of Fun's songs on youtube, wasn't that impressed but maybe I'll hear more before they come over here. Can't wait for the tour though. Gonna be amazing.

Never heard of that leetle band called Fall Out Boy then?

Pete Wentz is actually co-president of the label, or he used to be. I'm sure he still is, and he completely owns Decaydance. He must still be in charge, actually, because he was in the Billionaire video.

But yeah, currently Paramore are definitely the biggest on there that are currently promoting an album.

By the way, Paramore fans, I'd really, really recommend Hey Monday and VersaEmerge. Slightly similair to Paramore, as in they have female frontwomen. In fact, VersaEmerge are on FBR. Really, really check them out. They are great.
