Ignorance is amazing. I remember reading about the song before I heard it. The song was written from Hayley's point of view about the conflict within the band. When I heard it I thought "ouch!!"

Although, it can't have been any more awkward than playing All I Wanted in front of Josh!

I can't believe there were conflicts in the band The song seems to calm me down anyway when I get angry thinking about that woman who annoyed me last week.

Yeah. I think it was when they did their Final Riot tour in the US (There is a live DVD available from their chicago show, along with a documentary) and they all appear to be getting along in it, but there were conflicts because Hayley got all of the attention. Not her fault; in fact, in interviews she would constantly make a point of saying that there were 4 of them (now 5) in the band, and that she doesn't work without them and they don't work without her, they are a team etc.

For this reason, I love the Ignorance video. The light is is used as the "spotlight & attention" and she's trying to point it towards the other guys, but it's inevitable that she gets most of the attention.

The lyrics are hurtful though. But hey, they credit that song with "saving" their band, so it's all good.

I can kinda relate in a way as I've had conflicts with groups and group work where I don't get along with the others in the group or they try to get me to do all the work for them etc.

Didn't get into it as I'm not a member of paramore.net but I'm listening to the tune on Youtube. It's quite good actually. I'll watch the vid when it's on Youtube.

Just got back from seeing these in Birmingham. I've already said it once but I'll say it again; an excellent performance all around. If you get the chance to see them, do so.

Glad you enjoyed it. I saw them for the first time on Saturday night at the O2. They really are fantastic live.

I don't know what to make of the video either. It reminds me of Ignorance, which is one of my favourite paramore videos. The song is similar in theme so it works (imo)

I wasn't sure about the tea poisoning scene though and the glasses though. Felt too much like No Doubt (It's My Life video) & GaGa (Paparrazzi video)

I remember the tea poisoning scene in Lady Gaga's Paparazzi video. Yeah the Ignorance video is quite good and goes well with the song. I love it

yeah the poisoning was in the No Doubt video too. The video for It's My Life. It doesn't help the comparisons with Gwen Stefani for Hayley Williams though, what with her having the pink hair in this video (Gwen had pink hair in the Ex Girlfriend video)

I kinda liked Hayley's pink hair, not a colour I'd use myself but it didn't look too bad!

I remember when she just let her hair fade to blonde (I think she dyed it blonde in the end), and it was really strange seeing her with a natural hair colour! It's almost like she should have been born with flame coloured hair!

I think her hair is naturally red (I saw an interview where she said that she saw a photo of herself as a 2 year old and she had really red hair! ) and then she started dying it orange when she got older (about 14) because she wanted that hair colour again (she went brighter though!).

I think her hair faded to blonde as a young girl/teen.

Interesting stuff. There's a girl at university who had purple hair last year!
