Multiple s-video inputs
I've seen threads before about multiple RGB inputs - this one is slightly different. I want to connect my DVD and VCR s-video outputs to my TV which only has one s-video input socket. Any suggestions?
BTW the TV only has one RGB scart which I use for my $ky box. |

I purchased a 3 way audio video selector box from Maplin which has SVideo and composite as well. Go to
http://www.maplin.co.uk and search for 3-Way Audio/Video Selector. It is only 9.99 however the quality of the picture is really good. I have used it to swtich between my XBOX and PS2. |

I looked all through the Maplin website and missed that! It looks ideal for what I want - I'll pop up to Maplin tomorrow and pick one up, thanks a lot!

The naming of the item could be better. It doesn't mention svideo in the title, which is a little silly.
It feels quite cheap and plasticcy (is that a word), but works well for me. If you need any audio video cables, and fibre optic cables/switches, I found last night a web site call http://www.tvcables.co.uk. I have just ordered from them one toslink optical switch and two toslink cables for less than the price of a switcher from maplin. Their postage is also very reasonable. |
