Another popular move (I think it may be Camilla) is where the chap holds his partner under the arms and kind of between his legs. Then he 'steps over' her twizzling his partner over as he goes.

(If anyone can get that dance move from my description I'll give you a gold star!!!)

I loved Austin and Erin's jive - it's one of my favourite dances so far - but wasn't that week one?? But on Saturday I just thought they were dancing separately and not in time to the music - the end hold was the most exciting thing. And, let's face it - you ain't gonna get a more crowd pleasing song!!

I too think that Vincent and Flavia are amazingly versitile. Also the Bennetts. I know Karen pulls funny faces but you have to admit she was pretty good at teaching Mark Ramps all the dances.

Camilla is slightly angular for me - and that means I don't always enjoy her dancing. He elbows just seem to be so sharp and I miss the softness that say Lilia would have in the dances.

I also agree that Brendan is a pretty good allrounder!

As for Christine and Matt's cha cha - I know it seems he recycled a lot of the moves. But I was just missing Alesha - that cha cha last year was so WOW!!! If he was trying to recreate it then he didn't really succeed - and it's not fair to Christine.

Not sure about this series but I remember Nicole Cutler and Diarmuid Gavin doing that particular move in their Paso Doble. It was, how shall I say...memorable!

that move annoys me because it always gets a round of applause and I think the pros put it in when they're lacking inspiration! I would rather see the basics done well!

Well we all know how Len dislikes faffing about, and that dance had a lot of faffing!! It's a shame because from what I could see, she was doing the paso steps quite well*....

* ALERT- I am a total dancing pleb so she may have been rubbish!!

I loved that Paso, amazingly ridiculous.

Having the music played too fast was also a problem in one of Darren G+Lilia's dances, I think it was the samba.

It was the Jive I think. The Samba was the one where Lilia lost the strap to her dress!

Just come in from a c***p day at work and wanted to say thanks to the 2 people who posted the smilies on the previous page. It's the first time I've laughed all day.

I think the pros also have to take into consideration the abilities of their student, some can and some cannot. Which I think limits what steps they can use and use well.

Darren - yes his facial expression can be abit off putting.
Camila - her legs are abit skinny and she over smiles at times.
Karen - weird faces she makes, plus her butt sticks out when she dances.
Brendan - his butt sticks out when he dances too.
James - his expressions of joy or excitement during the dance makes him looke like hes
watching a pole dance.
Vincent - I actually enjoy his dancing as a pro, not so much with a celeb
Flavia - I enjoy her dancing too in both latin and ballroom
Ian - He is good but the performance always seems to be spoilt with Camila.
Ola -It seems to be about how much she can reveal rather than the dance.
Lilia - She always seems to use the guests dance routines the following week.
Anton - good ballroom - poor latin - but great sense of humor.
Erin - strong ballroom but poor latin,

Then Matthew.
What can I say, he is good at ballroom and latin, his choreography is always well polished. He looks good, but always plays down his part and puts his student in the limelight all the time. In one word....PERFECT.....lol

I agree it was woeful. I think the problem was Austin messed up near the beginning and started doing an odd move which was obviously not in the routine. Erin was a bit surprised if you watch and seemed to wait until he got back on track which took much too long. I do not know why they were not marked down lower they should have been at the bottom.

Casper - I'm kind of getting the impression....I may be wrong....that you perhaps.....like Matthew....a little bit?

BTW - Darren's face has never put me off - anything!!!

Ian - does a guppy fish impersonation with his mouth that can be very annoying

Loved watching the clip of Ian slipping on Zoe's fan! He really does seem to be accident prone! He nearly fell down the stairs in this series!

And Vincent nearly dropped Rachel at the end of their - was it foxtrot?

I think we expect the pros to be infallible and to be able to do all dances equally well. It's interesting seeing how nervous Vincent gets during this series.

Erin - always looks uncomfortable doing latin, actually reminds me a bit of Cherie, never WILD enough
Darren - funny cheesy face
Karen - point. gurn. ugh.
Flavia - always looks like she's got the hump
James - don't like anything about him

I don't have anything bad in particular to say about Brendan or Hayley's dancing

I positively LOVE Matthew, Vincent, Brian, Kristina and Lilia for their dance ability and for their choreography

Matthew and Brian remind me very much of each other, the fluidity of those hips is marvellous
