Not really worth a new thread , but couldn't find a better place

Great item .
Karen and one of the seamstresses at whose workshop in Croydon the dresses are made .
We saw the workshop and work on this week's dresses .
Each of the seamstresses /designers have a pro and a
celebrity allocated ; they sell on the dresses afterwards .

Karen had that whisp of a dress she wore last Wednesday , £240 per meter ! and in the Christmas jive with Mark and in the John Barrowman item last year .

Karen was the lady's allocated pro and each have a pro and a celebrity .The pros start planning from July and the celebs from August .
They get to know who is dancing 2 days before they meet them and spend the time researching the ladies background etc .

Apparently Heather wore several of the dresses Karen designed and would have worn had Gary gone further .

It was lovely to see Lisa's black and white dress close up, all that detail on the roses. Gorgeous.

That jive dress looked so small !!
Loved Bill's comment, 'The most expensive amount of nothing you'll ever see.'

Thought it was really interesting. The workshop looked a bit like the DSI one, does anyone know for sure?

It was a really good item! Better than their SCD interviews, to be honest!

Any chance of anyone uploading it? Never mind if not.

The BBC Breakfast site seems to have improved a bit in getting their clips up

LOL at the fact that Karen's Tango dress hiding the feet is still grating him.

Hope you don't mind, but I have 'borrowed' some of your posts for my readers to see in my thread http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...0#post29044230

The clip is a very interesting item in what happens to dress the dancers on the show.

Think you will find ChrisAnne's in Mitcham make most of the Strictly dresses, though some of the pros may occasionally have some of theirs made elsewhere.
