Yes I got the same email. I think they will have had a lot of orders as AOL were advertising the deal as a pop up and also on their welcome screen.

when you put the sim in, it will reveal the username and password of the o2 account which purchased it. if your gonna sell, dont forget to change the password on the acccount!

The free text info has worked on about 1 in 20 Sims that I have had but as I say in the sale, the is no way to determine whether it will work on your own SIM.

I have used the "More than 6 sims to one address" over the past 2 months and you get the same kind of response as u do when ordering to different addresses. i.e. You get about 1 or 2 in every 3 orders sent (sometimes less)

The ebay sale is a 10 day sale and as as u will appreciate I know that once this info is out everyone will be using, selling and posting it so I am advising the following to all buyers

1) Once you have it you don't use it to order a ridiculous amount of disks at once.
2) Do not post it on forums because once it is known to a large amount of people it is possible that O2 will become wise and take steps to rectify the fault

Once the sale ends I will expect payment and the information will be sent via a little program to an email of your choice.

To confirm interest in the item, register your email for the program to be sent, and confirm method of payment please email the following address. Once you have done so you will have the information in your email within 5 hours of the sale closing.

Thanks for the link Queentracy, I ordered a couple today but they were 99p each, people on e-bay are charging just to get the link you posted!!
As for the "free" text info loads of people, also on e-bay, are trying to sell "the secret" for anything from £1 up. So buscpurc save your money I'm sure the "secret" will be common knowledge soon and O2 will pull the plug on it

NOT TRIED IT BUT IF ANYONE WANTS IT

SOME PPL R JUST LOW LIFE LOOSERS WHO ARE CHARGING ON EBAY
....................................
SIM CARD SCAM.

1 Firstly you must have a o2 sim card installed into your mobile phone.(must
be the 300 text per month sim!)

2 Please note that there are different o2 sim cards,the 300 a month means
you have to put £10 in every month to recieve your 300 texts.

3 Once you have topped your sim card up with some credit you will find you
have the following;

£10 worth of talktime,
300 wap minutes,(once registered)
300 texts.

4 Take notice of what date it is on your mobile phone when you top up.

5 Use your phone as normal for that month or until you run out of texts.

6 Once you have run out of texts,reset the date on your mobile phone to the
date when you first topped up and DONT USE YOUR PHONE THAT DAY!!
(meaning dont make a connection with anyone with your mobile but leave
turned on!!)

7 The next day you can change your date settings back to normal.

8 Now all you have to do is wait for the new month and you will recieve a
message from o2 saying"THANKYOU FOR TOPPING UP,YOU NOW HAVE YOUR FREE 300
TEXT MESSAGES"

9 No matter where abouts in that month you run out of texts,You
only(ONLY!)get a max of 300 texts per month so make sure you dont run out
halfway through the month as you will have to wait till the start of the new
month to get your free 300 texts.

I cant see how that will work as the free allowance 300 wap minutes 300 texts will only apply on your anniversary date of when you top up....eg you top up on the 1st November with £10.00 so you anniversary date is the 1st of each month so you will need to top up on the 1st december or after to get the free allowance reset...........has any one tried the above

The free texts thing is rubbish - it works on 1 in 100 sims and u dont even need to do anything - it is just a fault for a month or 2.

The thing I want to buy is how to get more than 6 to the same address within the 3 month timer period for free.

As I said - if anyone wants to chip post so I can get some cash ready
