Six is the maximum you can get to any one postal address.

The 'trick' is likely to involve adding 'A', 'B' etc after your house number. This apparently used to work but o2 caught on some time ago.

becuase I have just order 4 of them?
”

Its ok to resell them nut when they are sent out they will be registered to your name so you wil need to either ring cust. service on 09063024445 or email in of the website to change the registration details

NOT TRIED IT BUT IF ANYONE WANTS IT

SOME PPL R JUST LOW LIFE LOOSERS WHO ARE CHARGING ON EBAY
....................................
SIM CARD SCAM.

1 Firstly you must have a o2 sim card installed into your mobile phone.(must
be the 300 text per month sim!)

2 Please note that there are different o2 sim cards, the 300 a month means
you have to put £10 in every month to recieve your 300 texts.

3 Once you have topped your sim card up with some credit you will find you
have the following;

£10 worth of talktime,
300 wap minutes,(once registered)
300 texts.

4 Take notice of what date it is on your mobile phone when you top up.

5 Use your phone as normal for that month or until you run out of texts.

6 Once you have run out of texts, reset the date on your mobile phone to the
date when you first topped up and DONT USE YOUR PHONE THAT DAY!!
(meaning dont make a connection with anyone with your mobile but leave
turned on!!)

7 The next day you can change your date settings back to normal.

8 Now all you have to do is wait for the new month and you will recieve a
message from o2 saying"THANKYOU FOR TOPPING UP,YOU NOW HAVE YOUR FREE 300
TEXT MESSAGES"

9 No matter where abouts in that month you run out of texts,You
only(ONLY!)get a max of 300 texts per month so make sure you dont run out
halfway through the month as you will have to wait till the start of the new
month to get your free 300 texts.
”

Hi speaking as a member of the O2 service staff, that won't work, that was a scam for what was known as "BRITE" phones where the credit and so forth was run of the phone however the ONline sims are known as "I.N" sims where it is run from the network, meaning to work that scam you would have to hack into the o2 network everymonth and change the date on that

Ok, Waster, as you have inside info, does the thing for more than 6 sims to an address work?
waster

Nope the address is vetted as is the email address and the credit card details. Now I think we should start a campaign to get bob hoskins back on the BT ad's, its good to talk

This does not fit with my experiences.

1) I ordered by sending a text, following a newspaper advert, asking for one...... I was sent three.. all in separate packages.

2) Approx. 2 months later I ordered two on the website.... received two...

3) I was using same (correct) name, address, email addy, for both orders

4) As I was ordering a free product ( i.e. my "shopping basket " cost was £0.00) I was not asked for credit card details.

Promotions are different, but trust I sit for 8hours a day at o2 looking at the order screens and peoples accounts, up until 9mnths ago I could even read your texts

When you buy an online talkalot sim card, or two, it seems to put the same number of pay monthly sim cards in my basket too which I can't remove. Is this normal? Also if your buying some of them for someone else, jenuinely not selling them, does it matter if there in my name?
pompeyrich

It done that to me too deano, put the 2 items in my basket, I was only charged for 2 items but my basket said 4.When you 1st put the cards that you order in your phone you get 3 texts from o2, a welcome message, then 1 with your user name from the o2 site, then your o2 password. So I would put them all in your phone, wait for the messages then delete them before passing them to friends, or change your password on the website.

it puts for items in oyur basket cos it registers the sim and tariff as seperate items for some reason MSN is a good place to look for sims they usually have some sort of free sim promotion

God I don't believe it, I didn't bother buying and waited till today and they've gone back up to £9.99. I think I'll wait till they go down to 99p again, can't be that long surely they do it often.

Hi,
I wondered if you could help clear something up for me.

I topped up on the 15th of last month but then I topped up again on the 7th of this month. The problem is I didn't receive my 300 texts so when do I get them? I thought I'd get them when I topped up but I was wondering if I'd get them on the 15th as that's when I topped up last month, and then next month if I top up on the 7th again I'd get them streight away as I'd kept the same date so that it'd been a full month?

That's something that doesn't seem to have been gone through before so please explain! Thanks!

I thought you had to wait until you got a message from o2 saying "your minimum top up time has now expired, texts and wap are now chargable".

you may have missed out on free texts this month, unless you top up again after 15th

I may be wrong though.!!!

If you originally topped up on the 15th, that is your anniversary date, and that's when you'll recieve your next batch of free texts, provided you have topped up somewhere within the last month... your anniversary date remains the same, unless you are late with your monthly top up, then the date you topped up will become your new anniversary date.... if you top up early, the anniversary date stays the same.

As for recieving more than 6 sims at a time, try sweet talking friends, family and neighbours into using their address.... it's worked a treat for me....
