Hi..

Not sure if this has already been suggested, but I was thinking how sad I was not to see Jodie and Ian's tango.

As they have the Sunday show I thought how good it could be if the couple that are voted out get to train for the next week and then perform on the Sunday show the following week. They could be allowed to have a go at any of the dances they didnt get to do whilst still in the contest.
As they are presumably contracted and paid for the whole show run,it shouldnt be a problem, and most seem sad to be going so may enjoy that extra, non pressurized dance.

I like it
I made a similar thread to this a while back - got about 3 replies lol.

I suggested a farewell showdance the following week for the ones that go. Your idea of a dance of their choice is great too

Everyone gets voted for, even if they lose, and it's a nice way for the supporters to wave them off and for them to enjoy just one special dance without been judged. Especially nice for the ones that leave early. In some other shows, the losers still get to do their thing one more time, so it's about time Strictly caught up

Maybe Ian and Jodie could do the Tango when they all come back for the final or at the end of an ITT like Gary did with Flavia ??

Someone should suggest it on Jodie and Ians thread ,i'd love to see it.

Sassy + calculator..like the original idea though.

I think it would be a great idea. I remember Louisa Lytton was gutted because she got knocked out the week before she and Vincent would have done the Argentine Tango, which she'd really wanted to do.

I know some people hate the Sunday show, but I'd be happy to see it go on as long at the Saturday show does.

I think it would be a great idea as so many couples say they wanted to dance such and such a dance.

I think it would be too exhausting for everybody. It's recorded on Saturday. But I like the idea of the farewell dance, maybe even as a part of the Saturday programme. The dance itself would take 90 seconds plus introduction and applause it would not be more than 5 minutes.

I really like the idea that way when a celeb has their heart set on doing a dance and get knocked out they still get a chance to dance that dance. I love the idea.

Mmm, that way everyone would get to do a farewell dance, not just John Sargeant.

Oops, didn't mean to mention him
