(OK, I confess, I watch it sometimes and tell the dogs if they don't behave I'll set the ****** on them.)

But basically, their money, their dogs. As long as it isn't a substitute for proper interaction, fair play to them. With so many dogs being subjected to awful cruelty, owners providing for their dogs, however extravagantly, I can't get wound up about. Meh.
